Turtle Creek Golf
About
Laid across rolling countryside atop the Niagara Escarpment, Turtle Creek Golf uses the natural undulations of the landscape to its full advantage. The hilly terrain combined with the rocky outcroppings scattered throughout add to the scenic nature of the golf course. The elevation of the terrain shifts between subtle and dramatic. For the most part, the layout is wide open but there are some trees to be wary of as well as some rough areas. Water plays a prominent role on the course, coming into play on 12 of the 18 holes. Turtle Creek's idyllic charm flows from the course to the clubhouse, which incorporates a stone building from 1835.

Tight course with challenging greens
Shorter course with few opportunities to hit driver. Tight fairways at times. Very hilly, especially around the greens, makes it tough to chip and putt.
1/3 of course par 3's, small saddle style greens, lots of undulation
Although the location would suggest quite, way to many urban noises to enjoy the surroundings, several hole close to road and dwellings .Even though I would not recommend to a friend the course does have its merits, few players better pace.
GREAT GOLFING NOTHING TO EAT
I GOLFED WITH MY BOYS THIS PASSED WEEKEND. THE FOOD CART HAD NOTHING BUT CHIPS AND SNACKS SO WE HAD TO DRIVE TO THE HOUSE TO GRAB A BITE. UNFORTUNATELY YOU ONLY HAD A CHOICE OF HAMBURGER, HOT DOG AND SAUSAGE NO LIGHT SANDWICHES.
Short and fun
Quite a short little course, even from the back tees. Definitely suited well for the beginner golfer, with some challenging holes for the more experienced. Was held back quite a bit on the last 5 or 6 holes... 5 minute wait at every tee so a marshal or ranger would have been appreciated on the course to keep things moving. All in all a fun day with challenging greens.
Challenging and fun.
Great multi-tiered greens and a fun layout. Every hole has a different challenge.
Nice playable course
A nice course......................................
Good course with some quirky holes
Overall it was good - there are some quirky holes like a dog leg on #1 and marshy areas on back 9. The back tees are a bit strange on the back 9. Greens are slow
So worth the drive.
Nice track, tough greens, can't wait to see it in the fall, so peace full, best of all, no rushing, and so worth the extra 20 min. drive.See you again real soon Turtle Creek.
Different type of golf
Some rather unusual holes. Not terribly long but conservative play is recommended for narrow fairways and smaller greens. A premium on accuracy. It had rained hard on my first time out and the greens were very slow. Scores will improve after you get to know the course and its quirks.
I will join the men's league on Wednesday's as it provides some very affordable , competitive golf in a friendly, informal atmosphere.
Great value for money.
Good practice course. Difficulty is above average. Putting greens varies from good to worst for every hole.
greens were very bad
greens were very bad could improve fairways were decent
Target golf
Nice tight course, the requires specific shot placement. Greens very fast but not too smooth.
some tight driving holes, lots of dogleg holes
good challenge, some water holes, greens were a little slow but true
Nice Track
I have played this track many times, the ground is hard.... but the course is nice one...(wow! hole 13...be prepared ! that's all i have to say about that) Greens are relatively quick and ungulate so good putting is a must. Depending on what tee you choose can make all the difference in the world, when it come to difficulty of the holes.
A little out of the way, but worth it !
Took a little while to get there (coming from Port Credit), but had a great day and really enjoyed the course.
Playing it a second or subsequent time will definitely take 5-8 strokes off your game as you get to know the course.
Really enjoyed our day.
Great staff, horrible greens, quirky holes
Pros:
- Friendly staff, from check-in to the beverage bar. They offered a cooler to take with us to keep our drinks cold (made sense to use it since there was no beverage cart when we played).
- Good variety of holes ... almost too much variety though, which leads to:
Cons:
- Really strange signature hole. Fairly gimmicky for a par 5.
- The back tees for about 3 of the back 9 holes were ridiculous. With a crosswind or headwind, unless you can drive the ball like a pro and have a carry of 250+ yards, a nice, straight drive still gets lost in some hazard. Nowhere to lay up. Frustrating.
- Worst of all, many of the greens were too hard, too small, and had a lot of debris on them. Hitting a green in regulation was a challenge. Not a lot of fun to hit a nice shot that would get you close to the pin on most courses, instead to have the ball deflect right off the green and into a greenside bunker or the trees.
ok course
Course was wet due to lots of rain we had recently, holes are bit to close we nearly got hit, greens not so good condition
enjoyed it!
Sorry it took so long to finally get there as we have geard nice things for a couple years. Yesterday my wife Mary and I had the nbest time there. People could not have been friendlier and the course was in really good conditions although somewhat inconsistant speed greens. Food was great and we will be back...often!
If you are real lucky you will deal with Carrie in the shop. What a sweetie

Nice course for the price.
Good for a quick round. Some interesting holes; some not so much. Good shape from tee to green. Greens need a bit of TLC.
Mixed bag
I recommend taking a cart. While some holes are nicely located from green to next tee blocks some others can be a trek. The course(fairways and greens) is in good shape, some work needs to be done on other areas to take this course to the next level. Good value for the money.
