About
Laid across rolling countryside atop the Niagara Escarpment, Turtle Creek Golf uses the natural undulations of the landscape to its full advantage. The hilly terrain combined with the rocky outcroppings scattered throughout add to the scenic nature of the golf course. The elevation of the terrain shifts between subtle and dramatic. For the most part, the layout is wide open but there are some trees to be wary of as well as some rough areas. Water plays a prominent role on the course, coming into play on 12 of the 18 holes. Turtle Creek's idyllic charm flows from the course to the clubhouse, which incorporates a stone building from 1835.

The worst conditioned greens of any golfnow course I have played.
I have had the opportunity to play this course on two separate occasions. The fist time the course was in "fledgling" condition. Immature greens and fairways. Even though it had been operating for many years. One year later the course remains a work in progress. The greens are like rock! Horrible to land a pro V on. I mentioned to the starter at the half way point of the round my misgivings regarding the condition of said greens. He just said they were young. It has been many. many years of play for this course to have its act together and have useable and appropriate greens for patrons to enjoy. They could learn a few things from other course. Not worth $25/cart. Please save your $ and gas.
Club house staff seemed like they wanted to be else where
Very slow day for us, maybe there was a tournament ahead, no idea over 5 hours, backed up on evey hole.
