Upper Canada Golf Course
About
Aultsville Creek runs alongside Upper Canada Golf Course, adding to the already scenic setting. It's located just across Highway 2 from the St. Lawrence River. Built in the early 1960s, the course has a classic design that still offers challenges that rival those that can be found on more modern courses. The golf course measures just over 6,900 yards from the back tees. There are four tees total and they are diverse enough for players of any skill level to play to their ability. Tall evergreens line the fairways and they also border the numerous ponds and wetlands that are scattered throughout the golf course. Strategically placed bunkers complement the natural hazards, adding a striking contrast to the lush greens. Upper Canada's 12th through 16th holes are a challenging stretch of holes that play right along the creek.

Really good conditions
Enjoyed playing here again. Staff was most helpful to sort out our tee off time mix-up. Pace of play really slow but due to great weather. It was fun just the same. Would recommend this course. Thanks.
Fabulous golf course.
My wife and I love to play on this golf course. It is absolutely the best course there is. So scenic also. Challenging but competive. Great for the whole golf family.
Top notch course with big geens
This is one of the top courses in eastern Ontario. The layout is excellent with various tee boxes for all levels. It isveryflat with very big greens. The course could host and has professional tournaments.
Absolutely beautiful!
Great golf course! Well maintained, friendly staff! We make sure to play this course every year as it is a real beauty and treat!
Great shape!
Upper Canada course is a hidden gem in Ontario. The fairways are emaculate and the greens are fast but not too many big breakers like some others. The staff is very courteous and I can't wait to book it again!
A Lovely Parklands Style Layout
The course was in good condition considering the amount of rain this year and the fact that it is a low-lying property to start with. The greens in particular were in exceptional condition however the fairways offered little roll due to their wetness underfoot and as such the course played much longer than usual. My concern for the day was that there was a tournament of some sort and every flag was a horror show designed to make it almost impossible to hit anything close or to make many putts. This made the day a bit labourious and tedious as there was little let-up hole-to-hole.
Superb home-made burgers on the grill as we walked off and that is a great touch.
On the other side of the ledger is that this course always plays slow and their idea of 4:15 as an acceptable time for a round of golf must go the way of the Dodo bird.
Worth the money
Great layout, and course was in very good condition.
Excellent course
The course was in very good condition. Three of the greens had been punched but were quite playable, the rest were quite fast and in perfect condition. This course does not have elevation changes but makes good use of water and sand traps. In the past they had a problem with geese in the Spring and Fall, but they seem to have resolved that - i.e. no bird droppings or even geese spotted on the course.
Great Course
Loved playing Upper Canada and enjoying all the fall colours. The greens were fast and challenging. The pace of play was excellent. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend playing this course.
Great Day on the course
challenging layout .. nice greens..fairways need attention (burnt) in many areas...need water..
History and current review of Upper Canada Golf Course.
I had played this course many times 50 years ago as I was a working nearby in Ingleside On. The course has not changed. Most fairways are in good condition, the greens a very large and somewhat slow.
The staff were friendly. The pace of play was reasonable.
pleasant
The course was in fine shape considering drought conditions in the area. Greans excellent.
Great place to play!
Greens were left longer and therefore slower than normal, not sure why they were slower than normal, but may be due to the drought. Due to lack of rain we have been experiencing- the course was very dry, but that is more mother natures fault.
Great Traditional Course
Took my two sons to play the course for the first time. They started off struggling but then found their stride. This is a course that offers a variety of challenges with holes that favor a fade, holes that favor a draw, and a good variety of par 3's (one at 90 yds and one over 200). There is plenty of water to navigate around and bunkers strategically placed. Greens were running a bit slow however we played in the mid afternoon so understandable. A must for the golfer who is in the area to visit the Village located across the street.
