Upper Canada Golf Course
About
Aultsville Creek runs alongside Upper Canada Golf Course, adding to the already scenic setting. It's located just across Highway 2 from the St. Lawrence River. Built in the early 1960s, the course has a classic design that still offers challenges that rival those that can be found on more modern courses. The golf course measures just over 6,900 yards from the back tees. There are four tees total and they are diverse enough for players of any skill level to play to their ability. Tall evergreens line the fairways and they also border the numerous ponds and wetlands that are scattered throughout the golf course. Strategically placed bunkers complement the natural hazards, adding a striking contrast to the lush greens. Upper Canada's 12th through 16th holes are a challenging stretch of holes that play right along the creek.

Great Golf day
location is worth the drive, great day to walk the course with push cart rental. Push carts very easy to walk with
First Game of the Year
As always I enjoy Upper Canada. The course has some winter kill but that par for the course at this time of the year. We rented a cart. The carts are new and in clean condition when you get the dart. Starter was friendly and courteous. Staff friendly and courteous. Food is always fresh a tasty although at any golf course somewhat overpriced but it's a seasonal venue so you pay more. My game needs a lot of improvement so you can't blame the course. I will be back.
Really good golf course
Holes are challenging but found the greens to be way too fast. Of the 5 courses I played this year, this course has the fastest greens. Other than the really fast greens, would recommend this course to anyone who would like to have a really good game of golf
For end of October course in great shape
I enjoyed my day at Upper Canada, the course was in great shape and greens still running quick. The day was cool and windy but not many leaves on fairways and greens. Great job from all the staff there
Great value for Great course
Nice course, good condition, friendly
staff and very good value for the money.
Great course
Played Upper \Canada many times but this deal was hard to pass up! My buddy and I had the course to ourselves at fisrt as rain was in forecast..Later we jioned up with another Gold now member... The course was in great condition and being a tree lined course..was surprised at lack of leaves on greens and fairways....The greens were fast and rolling true....Good ball placement is a must as its pretty narrow around most of the course..holes 12-15 have water all the way down left side...The long par 5 14 has water down left side and the water forms an inlet around the 210 yard so a layup might be in order.
Great course
loved the course, conditions were great and the golf was really challenging.
Definitely recommend this course
Worth the Drive from KINGSTON Ontario
Greens were immaculate! Trees had just started to turn into their marvellous colours. Front nine is relatively easy. The four holes on the back stretch require precision tee shots; the sun came out in the early afternoon and made it even nicer. All tee boxes were in great conditions. Only regret was not coming sooner after my last outing here four years ago. This is the best time/season to play a round at Upper Canada as my partner and I felt we were on a private course. Staff did a great job cleaning after the wild life creatures as by now most had departed for the South...
great test of golf
This course being played from the tips is a great test of where u think your game may be at. Greens are immaculate and true and really quick. Course management is very important if you are going to play a good round.
Course conditions!
The course was some what wet. Heavy rain the day before left areas some what wet. Cart path only for electrics carts. Normally course is in perfect condition but nature had other plans!
about the couarse
very good day i will be back course is in great shape
Upper Canada
Excellent golf course with very fast greens and a great layout. Very scenic with a lot of wildlife.
Great course bad score
Four of us decided to play at upper canada and while we had a spectacular day weather wise and the course was in great shape with a really good track we all played terrible of course until the 18th
Such is golf, we all really enjoyed the challenge it gave us, the conditions were perfect
We cannot wait to go back and play again but bring our better game next time
Good for all
Upper Canada is a nice course, reasonably challenging but still mostly fair. It is also playable for golfers of all levels. The course was reasonably well maintained and greens were in decent shape. We took a cart because it was included in our fee, but it's easily walkable.
Staff was friendly, well, other than the restaurant, they didn't seem to want us there.
I rated the value as average, it's not great for prime time, it's OK for afternoon but it's great if you grab one of those Hot Deals which just happened to be offered for the time I wanted to golf anyway.
If I'm in the area again I'd definitely consider playing it again, but I doubt I'd go to the restaurant (though for the quick beer we had there it did look nice, so maybe another chance...)
don't waste your money
This course has several flaws starting with mgmt. They seem to have a lot of trouble just answering the phones let alone getting the groups right at booking. My suggestion is that women should avoid this course as it is too long(5600 yds) and the rough is too long(4-6 in) for them to enjoy themselves. They set every hole up to be the toughest on that particular green. Not the way to attract holiday or green fee players. Seems mgmt. has lost control of the grounds crew and they pretty much do whatever they like. Go play a local course and enjoy your game and don't support this poorly run although good shape, tough golf course
Great layout; every hole is different, Par 3's fun to play.
I have played this course many times in the past.
I couldn't pass up the deal given out by GolfNow.
Will book it again in the future.
Upper Canada
Always a great course and for $35 to ride through golf now a great deal.
Upper Canada
Pace of play great. Greens and fairways in excellent shape.
Terrific conditions
I have played Upper Canada several times over the past 30 years. The conditions of the course continue to be top-notch. With the discount from Golf Now it is an incredible value that I recommend to everyone.
quite slow and. nobody seems to care
Though I would have a nice relaxing round on a mid afternoon Saturday. if you don't mind 10 to 15 minutes waits between lots of shots then this is a nice place. Really nice course but beware the pace of play.
