Upper Canada Golf Course
About
Aultsville Creek runs alongside Upper Canada Golf Course, adding to the already scenic setting. It's located just across Highway 2 from the St. Lawrence River. Built in the early 1960s, the course has a classic design that still offers challenges that rival those that can be found on more modern courses. The golf course measures just over 6,900 yards from the back tees. There are four tees total and they are diverse enough for players of any skill level to play to their ability. Tall evergreens line the fairways and they also border the numerous ponds and wetlands that are scattered throughout the golf course. Strategically placed bunkers complement the natural hazards, adding a striking contrast to the lush greens. Upper Canada's 12th through 16th holes are a challenging stretch of holes that play right along the creek.

Nice layout !!!
Fairways in good condition. Nice ondulated greens. Very challenging from back tees.
great price
upper Canada is a great course to play the greens super does a fantastic job to keep it in excellent shape the management team here doesn't seem to care what people think of the experience of the course no beverage cart on the course when we played at 30 degrees the only beer available was in bottles at the turn really bottles glass is a n accident ready to happen wish this course would be run by people who treated it like a business instead of a manager looking for a government pension what a shame this course could be one of the best in eastern Ontario but until the management changes it will struggle
Framed by water
The course was in nice shape. Well kept fairways and smooth rolling greens. Although not overly busy, I was forced to hop between holes to overcome backups.
Midweek play
Course was in good shape all around. Greens were in good shape along with fairways etc
Great course, great people
Very nice course with very nice people. The starters and marshal's were incredible friendly and a pleasure to talk to.
Awesome track
super friendly, awesome course layout, very nice conditions
Great course, well worth the detour.
We loved the course. It was in great shape. The greens were in excellent condition and quite fast. It was well worth the drive from Montreal to go play that course.
was a great day course in great shape
really enjoy, beautiful fall colors, excellent walking conditions.
Hope to get a couple more games in this season...
Enjoyable
Great challenge for all. Nice conditions. Played twilight golf now rate- GREAT value.
Great course.
I am fortunate enough to live 10 minutes from Upper Canada and have played it several times this year. It is a great parkland style course. Most fairways are lined with huge old trees, so there is no room for errant tee shots. The greens are in perfect condition, soft and moderately fast, larger flat tee boxes, and the fairways are in good condition.
The staff are always very friendly and accommodating. I almost always get out ahead of my tee time if I am early. Not a super busy track which makes for a stress free, enjoyable round.
absolutely amazing
All I have to say is wow. They just hosted a CPGA last week and they kept the course in the same conditions they played.
Beautiful setting
Course is in great shape. Lush fairways and pristine greens
Above average fairways and greens; under trees, etc. cleared.
$25 each with GolfNow, 3:00 tee off. From the whites. The course conditions are above average compared to similarly priced courses (discounted) in the Ottawa area. It is challenging with several long par 4s and a monster par 5s. Every enjoyable afternoon with the setting sun.
Exellent golf experience!
This course was recommended to us to play on our way out of Canada back to the US, and it was a great recommendation!
Course was in VERY good shape, and we had an optimal day to play - sunny, low 80's, no humidity - just stellar. I am an intermediate golfer (20-24 handicap) but my boyfriend is more accomplished. We both enjoyed this course. The greens are challenging, the fairways can be narrow, and water comes in to play on several holes. Back 9 was more challenging than the front. Drink cart was very available, and the snack counter in the clubhouse at the turn had good offerings (chicken soup!!) was fast and the food was good. Marshall came around several times and kept us informed and things moving as best he could.
Course was a little backed up on such a beautiful day, so the round took almost 5 hours.
However - the two Canadian gentleman that joined us for the round were the icing. What pleasant, fun, affable men, enjoying their boondogle golf day! Their light-heartedness was infectious, and by joining them it only increased our enjoyment of the day, and the round. Jim and Ron (I think) Thanks from Andrea and Rob!!! ;)
A very nice course
Big beautiful greens that are quick and usually guarded by a sand trap or two.Fairways that are like carpeting sandwiched between rough that is thick and nasty.I found it played long and was in trouble often throughout the round, there's water on the back nine.I enjoyed the course and the staff was friendly.
Great walking course!
For our first time, this golf course was awesome! The greens are in perfect shape and it was easy to follow the course! Instead of the sound of planes as a distraction, we could hear the sound of the Upper Canada Village Train! Loved the experience! Going back for sure!
The course was in excellent condition.
We book a foursome to play this course for the first time. The course was in excellent condition and we will play it again.
