Upper Canada Golf Course
About
Aultsville Creek runs alongside Upper Canada Golf Course, adding to the already scenic setting. It's located just across Highway 2 from the St. Lawrence River. Built in the early 1960s, the course has a classic design that still offers challenges that rival those that can be found on more modern courses. The golf course measures just over 6,900 yards from the back tees. There are four tees total and they are diverse enough for players of any skill level to play to their ability. Tall evergreens line the fairways and they also border the numerous ponds and wetlands that are scattered throughout the golf course. Strategically placed bunkers complement the natural hazards, adding a striking contrast to the lush greens. Upper Canada's 12th through 16th holes are a challenging stretch of holes that play right along the creek.

This golf-god watches over the green on the first hole Photo submitted by pitsbrgher on 07/26/2013
Excellent course
The course was in very good condition. Three of the greens had been punched but were quite playable, the rest were quite fast and in perfect condition. This course does not have elevation changes but makes good use of water and sand traps. In the past they had a problem with geese in the Spring and Fall, but they seem to have resolved that - i.e. no bird droppings or even geese spotted on the course.
Great Course
Loved playing Upper Canada and enjoying all the fall colours. The greens were fast and challenging. The pace of play was excellent. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend playing this course.
Great Day on the course
challenging layout .. nice greens..fairways need attention (burnt) in many areas...need water..
History and current review of Upper Canada Golf Course.
I had played this course many times 50 years ago as I was a working nearby in Ingleside On. The course has not changed. Most fairways are in good condition, the greens a very large and somewhat slow.
The staff were friendly. The pace of play was reasonable.
pleasant
The course was in fine shape considering drought conditions in the area. Greans excellent.
Great place to play!
Greens were left longer and therefore slower than normal, not sure why they were slower than normal, but may be due to the drought. Due to lack of rain we have been experiencing- the course was very dry, but that is more mother natures fault.
Great Traditional Course
Took my two sons to play the course for the first time. They started off struggling but then found their stride. This is a course that offers a variety of challenges with holes that favor a fade, holes that favor a draw, and a good variety of par 3's (one at 90 yds and one over 200). There is plenty of water to navigate around and bunkers strategically placed. Greens were running a bit slow however we played in the mid afternoon so understandable. A must for the golfer who is in the area to visit the Village located across the street.
Top Condition Course with friendly staff
Upper Canada is one of our favor courses and this year the condition is much better than previous years, with good tee boxes, fairways and greens. The staffs were extremely friendly and it was a very pleasant to play before we went back to Ottawa from Toronto.
Best course around
Upper Canada is the best, toughest, best conditioned course in eastern Ontario. If you think that your game is getting good, come play UC and be brought back to reality. The layout requires straight drives off the tee and penalizes shots astray. Love this course!
Excellent
Is very good place to play Golf
Fantastic
The course is in fabulous condition! Greens and fairways are playing great despite the drought in the region. The course is in mid summer shape already!
Upper Canada Delight
It was our first time playing this course and the weather was fantastic. It was a quiet Thursday afternoon early in the season, so there were not too many people playing. We finished 18 holes in 3 1/2 hours with carts.
Lovely setting; good golf venue
One visit and you'll want to return for sure.
Course in good shape; friendly staff; pleasant day of golf all round. Greens are very good; read carefully;
and fast! Will most definitely return.
Very nicely laid out course
The course was in reasonably good shape. the weather was not the best but we managed to get the round in. Playing it for the first time made it more challenging. You do not know where to hit the ball etc.
Will play the course again, hopefully in good weather.
beautiful senery
I love that the course was varied. No two holes were the same. The greens were very good. Not too firm, so you could actually stick a ball. Pin placements were tough. I like the challenge, but my putting stinks even on a easy put. LOL
The greens had a few rough patches, but over all they were very good.
The course is walk able. No big hills to climb.
beautiful evening golf
Great evening beautiful course! Great friendly service
Nice course
Service is bad at the pro shop, we were 3 and they charged full price for 2 povercart.
