About
Carved from 200 acres of mature forest along the Holland River just 40 minutes from downtown Toronto, Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club provides a scenic round reminiscent of those found in either Florida or the Carolinas. Neighbored by native wetlands, the golf course features water hazards on 12 holes. There are also treacherous, well placed bunkers coming into play on every hole. The par-3 third hole is notably challenging, in addition to being flanked by bunkers, it also requires a carry over a pond. Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club also features a unique seven-acre aqua driving range as well as three chipping and putting greens.

Good value
Silver Lakes is an above average course and good value at C$85 with cart taxes included. Challenging design and well maintained.
Too slow
It was not my day. My tee time was 2:09, however I didn't expect the frost delay can be slow me down so much that I was only able to finish 14 holes.
Tight
Cold wet conditions but the course held up brilliantly. Great test for any golfer who prefers a course that challenges your skill level.
Silver Lakes
Challenging weather day but the course was in excellent condition considering we are near the end of the season. Greens were great.
5 1/2 hour round!
Played this course many times and had a great experience but the last round took almost 6 hours to play. Tee time was 1:12 and ended the game at 6:35. We waited on every hole from start to finish and the marshal was no where to be seen until hole 17. Very disappointing for a course of this calibre
Golf course was in great shape but pace of play a little slow.Over all a good experience.
Solid track
Well designed course makes you make shots, and keep it in play on the narrow fairways. Diffently walkable might be the best way to play here cart path only more often than not.
Pretty good
Played this course many times in the past and I thought condition is pretty good if not perfect, given the time of the season and weather surrounded.
Much better green than Bond head these days and cheaper fee.
Hidden Gem
This course was incredible.Fairways that are better than many courses greens. Beautiful greens, great amenities.I highly recommend this course.We absolutely loved it.
A good course to enjoy
It is a well maintained course and the fairways n greens are in good condition. The roughs are pretty high for amateur players n not easy to find the balls as sometimes buried beneath the rough. This will slow down the pace as more time is needed to locate the ball. Check in was quick n easy with very friendly and polite staff and Marshall. The beverage cart is always around and is good in this hot weather. Overall it is a good course to enjoy.
Keep it in the fairway.
The course conditions were great. Stay in the fairway and be sure to bring your putting “A” game! Greens were fast but rolled true.
