Beechwood Golf & Social House
About
Beechwood Golf & Social House sprawls across gently rolling hills dotted with natural water features and trees, providing a terrain that is ideal for golf. The championship layout features fast, undulating greens and carefully contoured fairways. Ponds come into play throughout along with meandering creeks and streams. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers in play. Beechwood Golf & Social House's finishing hole is notable for both the scenery and challenges it offers. To begin the hole you need a precise drive between out-of-bounds on the left and a creek to the right that cuts into a landing area, and then you must make a skillful second shot to a triple-tiered green that slopes towards the creek's edge.

Good Value
Nice course, busy but pace of play was fine. Pro shop and starter were friendly and helpful. A fine time was had by all.
This course needs a lot of work
The course is generally run-down and in poor condition. Drainage is a major problem with very large puddles in many areas. No sand in the bunkers - mud only. Greens look O.K. but very bumpy.
Save yourself and play anywhere else in the Niagara area.
Nice course and great value
The course was in good condition overall. Challenging off the Tee. Worst part are the traps; no sand in them and unplayable...they are apparently going to fix them this year, but they should post or have starter just tell people they are unplayable.
Great day and round
Thoroughly enjoyed the day. Good round and company. Helps that I scored well!
Needs a little TLC...
This course would be in my top 10 if only a little more TLC was given to the fairways...I understand with a lot of rain it does take its toll, but there was a lot of
bare spots throughout the fairways.
The round was 3hr 47 min. even though it seemed slow pace.
Interesting Layout
The course is fun with some interesting holes. Still a little rough around the edges: bridges and cart paths quite rudimentary. The power lines can affect your shots sometimes so be prepared to reload!
Great value in Niagara Falls
My group really enjoyed this course and will play here again if we get the chance. The greens were soft and rolled true. The shots from the blue tees were challenging but achievable. The yardage was true. Great deal through golf now.
enjoy the course and friendly staff
always enjoy playing here but rates have gone up this year so won't be there as often less we can find a hot deal
Secret of Niagara
Have played this course for years and has never disappointed. The staff is wonderful and the golf pro is one of the best in Ontario in my opinion. If you're looking to plan a tournament this is a place to go. It's not easy but not super hard. Will make you think but will leave you with a lasting experience
greetings.
I hadn't played Beechwood in a number of years. There had been ownership turmoil and the reports that I had heard were not flattering. It has always been a good course. The new ownership group have done a great job in reinstating the golf course. A well maintained tough golf course from the blue tees. A very enjoyable walk
Early spring
Green a little slow, course was soft but in great shape.
Great value
Great value if you can get a hot deal
A Course with Variety
Loved the fact that there are a variety of tee boxes which permitted me to play the course longer while it was shortened up for my wife. Good variety of holes made challenging by well placed bunkers and tree lines. MAJOR COMPLAINT - no directions between holes 14 and 15, Therefore, unless you have played the course before and know where you are going, getting lost is very easy. Just put out some signs directing golfers at this point on the course.
Always enjoy playing here
Course is scenic with some interesting holes.
Modest course, but very pleasant to play
We had a great day at Beechwood. It wasn't too busy, but I think that the twosomes should be paired up by the starter, and not leave it up to the players. There were 3 twosomes in a row, and we caught up immediately to the first set and turned it into a foursome, but that made it difficult for the two left behind. A more detailed card that showed the hazards would be helpful.
