Legends on the Niagara is home to several entertaining golf courses that appeal to players of all skill levels, This unique complex is home to two championship golf courses, a nine-hole course, and a unique 18-hole putting course. The Battlefield Course is one of the 18-hole, championship courses, so named because of the facility's location on the hallowed grounds of the legendary Battle of Chippewa during the War of 1812. The layout features an impressive man-made lake that spans nearly 20 acres and comes into play on at least four holes. The 13th hole is particularly notable for its spectacular view of Niagara Falls in the distance.

We were traveling and arrived at our tee time. The Marshall was very receptive and quickly got us to the first tee. We had actually missed our grouping but they got us out quickly, with a full tee sheet. It was a warm day and the beverage cart was available to us several times. The course was in excellent condition, minus the ball marks that players were not repairing. Again, no fault of the course. I would recommend and play again. The course is playable for all levels.
Great city course
Beautiful and will maintained course, a bit more challenging with bunkers spread through most holes, but wide enough to not lose a lot of balls
Great course but slow play
The course was amazing. Even with the wet weather it was playable. We were allowed off the cart path which should have made the pace of play faster. There was a foursome ahead that was slowing things down greatly but the Marshall did approach us and allowed us for the back nine to move to the front nine of Usshers Creek. Thanks to the Marshall for moving us and making our night and a much better game.
Excellent Condition
I played here for the second time this summer and it was nothing short of amazing.
The course was in excellent condition and the pace of play was very reasonable.
Wonderful Experience
My group enjoyed as much as I did the number of times I played the Battlefield. I talked highly of the course and overall experience and it was top notch. Thank you to the whole team, hope enjoy it again after the plandemic!
Battle the bunkers!
The course was in great shape, the bunkers are a real challenge, Need to play it again !! Only complaint is that there were walkers in the group ahead. (On a hot day). This is NOT a walking course as the green to t. Distance can be long...and they really impacted on speed of play. Staff were all excellent.
D range
The driving range should be free, like grand Niagara. Apart from that staff,course, maintenance where perfect
Poor choice
Booked a round for 2, clearly shown on the booking, had to pair up with another couple. Booked a cart, pointless as course was so waterlogged had to stay on pathways. Meant that every time you took a shot you needed to grab 3 clubs as your ball was nowhere near the cart most of the time. Drainage on the course is terrible, there was water everywhere. Tee times were too close, our round took forever as we had to keep waiting. All in all not worth the money
Battlefield
Course was wet for all the rain we have been having, for the last 2 rounds there it has been cart path only. That's a bummer but carts would destroy this little piece of paradise. Overall course was in great shape and the staff are the best.
