About
Located in a spectacular natural setting against the backdrop of the Niagara River whirlpool and gorge, this magnificent and challenging championship course was designed by the legendary golf architect Stanley Thompson. Owned and operated by The Niagara Parks Commission since 1951, Whirlpool is considered as one of the Top 100 Courses in Canada.
Directions: From Toronto: Approach Niagara Falls on the QEW. Just after crossing the St. Catharines Skyway, take the 405 exit towards the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge to the USA. Just before the bridge, take the last exit to the Niagara Parkway. Turn right off the ramp onto the Niagara Parkway. Whirlpool Golf Course is 4km down the road on the right hand side

Course conditions
I would have though there would have been a reduction in green fees due to the course being so wet. There was water on all of the fairways, the bunkers were full of water.
Whirlpool is Wonderful
This course is great. It is in solid shape, the greens are true, and it is a challenge. Go play a Fall round at Whirlpool!

Played Whirlpool on Saturday, course was in great shape, they were getting rid of all the leaves. Pace of play was good. Coming back dor sure

Great course
Beautiful layout. No. 2 is particularly gorgeous. Beware, the greens were quite sandy, but I understand at this time of year courses need to do what they have to do to keep conditions up. All in all, you'll never be disappointed with a round here.
Whirlpool
Haven’t been here under a few years but is still a wonderful course. Gotten over my personal price threshold for a round but got a great Golfnow deal.
Last out and finished in 4 hours. Pace of play tempered by foursome in front who were very disorganized
Good weather, conditions were excellent even though greens had been aerated and top dressed recently they were a bit slow but true
Staff very friendly bit disappointed restaurant was closed when we finished.
If you haven’t played here try it. Good history and layout
Great course
We played it on a wet day with cartpath only rules but was still a great day. Greens we slow but to be expected at this time of year.
Classic gem
Appreciated the call to inform the greens had just been aerated. Expect this maintenance, wasn't informed prior to booking on Golfnow....
Pace of play was terrible!
Marshall kept telling us to push the group ahead, yet it wasn't that group slowing everyone down....
Also, I don't understand why the Marshall insists we need to push the group ahead....that's their responsibility!
Overall, a wonderful Stanley Thompson course that rewards good shots and of course, penalizes poor shots.
Nice course always
Any golf outing especially on a nice source depend who you get to play with. I was lucky to be playing with 3 nice gentlemen and we really enjoyed playing the golf course.
