About
Located in a spectacular natural setting against the backdrop of the Niagara River whirlpool and gorge, this magnificent and challenging championship course was designed by the legendary golf architect Stanley Thompson. Owned and operated by The Niagara Parks Commission since 1951, Whirlpool is considered as one of the Top 100 Courses in Canada.
Directions: From Toronto: Approach Niagara Falls on the QEW. Just after crossing the St. Catharines Skyway, take the 405 exit towards the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge to the USA. Just before the bridge, take the last exit to the Niagara Parkway. Turn right off the ramp onto the Niagara Parkway. Whirlpool Golf Course is 4km down the road on the right hand side

Great course but no 19th hole
A great Stanley Thompson track with some tough holes but also stretches you can score on. Unfortunately the bar/restaurant which has a great view of 18 green and the river parkway is closed for some reason
Great day
It was a great day but the course was extremely wet.
Rude Marshal
The corse itself is very nice. We we set off by the starter early since we were there early. The clubhouse staff informed us that it was cart path only when riding carts. On the 4th hole, the marshal told us to speed up as we were ‘5 minutes behind’. Not sure what he expected as it was cart path only so there was still a lot of walking involved. We then waited for the group in front of us on every hole on the back nine and they were never told to speed up. This is unacceptable in the spring when people are just starting up again and when it is cart path only.
This course layout is great
Great service. The staff was helpful and allowed us to go off early due to possible weather conditions
Rough course
Fairways need cutting greens were bumpy not worth the money
Excellent long game course
The course is long. If you can drive far then this is the course for you. Very straightforward. Nothing tricky. Pretty location. Too bad the restaurant is closed for the 2022 season.
