About
Located in a spectacular natural setting against the backdrop of the Niagara River whirlpool and gorge, this magnificent and challenging championship course was designed by the legendary golf architect Stanley Thompson. Owned and operated by The Niagara Parks Commission since 1951, Whirlpool is considered as one of the Top 100 Courses in Canada.
Directions: From Toronto: Approach Niagara Falls on the QEW. Just after crossing the St. Catharines Skyway, take the 405 exit towards the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge to the USA. Just before the bridge, take the last exit to the Niagara Parkway. Turn right off the ramp onto the Niagara Parkway. Whirlpool Golf Course is 4km down the road on the right hand side

Excellent course
Mid November and we played golf in Niagara Falls need I say more. Excellent !
Soaked
Course was soaked, not worth playing at all. This year no deals to be had at Whirlpool , only public course that got top rate all year. Saw on the website 50 round pass with cart, 79.10 a round...way too much...
Time of Year Bonus
Course was in really good shape, and for time of year, weather was pretty good, 13C and not too windy. Started at 12:30 and finished a bit before 5 ;while we could still see. Price is good, compared to overpriced rates during the summer.
Always enjoy playing the whirlpool course. The guys in the pro shop were friendly and very helpfull. The course was in great shape, considering it was in November. Unfortunately the greens had been recently punched and top dressed, but still overall it was an enjoyable experience.

Niagara Falls
Wet, but still very nice
It had been raining heavily for the past few days, so things were quite soggy. The balls didn't roll much, and it was murder to get them cleanly out of the rough. However, it's still Whirlpool, one of the prettiest courses you'll play in Ontario. Considering it's the end of October, everything's in pretty good shape, and the greens were smooth. At less than $40, it is an absolute steal of a deal.
Course rating
Course was wet but after the rain we had it was in good condition.
Although it was cart path only this course takes pride in their product.
