Whirlpool Golf Course

It was cool, about 7C but I was prepared and did feel cold at all. The course was in fantastic shape. No plugged shots and a fair bit of roll. The greens were pretty quick and the staff has done a good job of keeping leaves away from greens. The rough was cut fairly short which helps at this time of the year. I have played here a few times this summer and the conditions today were summer like.

I can’t believe how well the drainage is at this course. It poured rain the night before and there was no puddles in the fairways nothing. I barely saw anyone all day it was like having my own private club. Staff was great I’ll definitely be back

This course has been run by the Niagara Parks Commission for many, many, years and has continued to be in outstanding shape. The fairways are nicely manicured and have this "lush" look to them. The ball more often than not, sits up almost like sitting on a piece of carpet.... The staff there, do a fantastic job and should really be commended for how hard they work. Excellent facilities there, as well.

Going back to the course itself, it can definitely present a nice challenge and when playing from the tips, this is a pretty nice length for just about everyone. One of my favorite courses in the Niagara Region.

The Whirlpool is a great course. It is challenging but fair, and like most courses, there is a huge premium for hitting it straight. The setting is beautiful and the course is well maintained.

On the day we played it was cart path only which made for a long day. The course is long with generous fairways and so at times it was well over a 50 yard walk to my ball. This made it slow and almost a 5 hour play time.

I have played the course many times and never with cart path only rule. The pace of play can be slow at times but is generally good. It is one of my favourite courses and I would highly recommend it.

Course was quite saturated with all the rain but was still in good condition. Quite a good round considering. They do an excellent job maintaining this course and it is still one of my favourite places to play.

Love the layout of course and in great shape lots of room if you spray the around definitely one of my favorites

Very good conditions. our tee off was 1233 pm. if we waited until 1pm it would have saved us 30 bucks each. Wish I knew in advance.

Still worth the money though.

The greens were aerated the day before. It was not mentioned on their web site. We decided not to play.

Very picturesque course. Greens and bunkers were in good shape, tees were pretty torn up. The helicopters were a bit over the top but you get use to it.

The only shortcoming are the fairway traps - light on sand and too many lonnng par 4s, I'm thinking 7, 8 and 10. But I like the traditional look, mature trees, pleasant staff, electric carts. I forgot to mention the helicopters - real pain. But I keep coming back!

This golf course is a golfers' dream. Fairways excellent , greens excellent and even the bunkers were in fantastic condition. My new favourite.
