Whirlpool Golf Course

Pace of play was just terrible on the back nine...three groups on the tee for most holes...quit on 18...

once you learn to just ignore the choppers and play. it's a great course.

Good layout; greens were in great condition & bunkers were all well kept

I enjoyed my round today at Whirlpool. It took four hours to play 18 holes, so the pace is fine. I do find it odd that they allow a single to go out alone - we had a single following us for the whole round. There was no point in letting him play through as we were in position and there were many foursomes ahead of us.

Love this course. Travel to Niagara to play this course every year. Greens were superb. A few patches in the fairway in rough shape but overall excellent shape.

I'm fairly new to the golf game, only been a golfer a few years, so I'm still learning. I've driven past this course a million times throughout my life and have always wanted to see it. It didn't disappoint. The conditions were perfect, the grass was green all the way through. Greens were a bit slow to start, but that was because of the morning dew. Began to speed up as the round went on. Highly recommend.

Interesting holes, challenging you to use every club in your bag.

Course had good greens and I liked the layout of the Course. There were a few fairways that had bare spots. Couldn't understand why there were no water stations, the cart girl didn't know why either. The rough was the same all around the course. It had no definition atound the green and fairways. Like maybe a short cut just off the fairway.

I realy enjoy playing here ... I will return next year for sure

our first of 3 rounds in the Niagara area for the weekend. Course was in great shape, fairways, greens and bunkers well maintained. Pace of play was ok just over 4hrs for a mid day Friday round and we just got ahead of a large tournament group.

Interesting Stanley Thompson design. Greens rolled true, fairways had some dead spots in them but were not consistent throughout the course. Green side Bunkers in need of more sand. Challenging layout, a tad expensive. Unless it’s a hot deal just call the course, rates are comparable to GolfNow.

I played Whirlpool years ago and loved it. The conditioning was great, and there were flowers everywhere. This time I was disappointed and surprised. The Niagara region is so green from an amazing year with everything growing perfectly. Unfortunately Whirlpool is in horrible condition. The fairways all have numerous brown and dead areas, and the conditioning in general was far below the standard you expect from this well known golf course. Also, the greens had been punched and there was no prior warning, so they were slow and not rolling true.

Overall, I think it’s been poorly maintained in a region with amazing growing conditions.

This is an old classic design. Mature trees and in excellent shape despite a long stretch of hot and dry weather. Terrific value.

Excellent twilight round at Whirlpool. Great pace for twosome walking. Course was in great shape even considering how dry the summer has been. Lots of width, strategy and great green complexes. Par 3 length is tough from the blue tees, would be nice to see one or two shortened up for a little more variety.

Great layout that I need to play more often to unlock some of it's secrets.
