Whirlpool Golf Course

I would recommend,we enjoyed the course, the layout,and the staff, everyone there is very friendly.

We are going to play again on Sunday.

Niagara Parks does a great job with the maintenance of their courses. Fairways are lines with trees so a good tee shot is vital. There's not much elevation change throughout the course and the greens are medium speed and generally flat. There are plenty of sand traps but not much water.

The only real negative about this course is the constant buzz from Niagara Helicopters.

Whirlpool is a classic design that should be played at least once. It demands a thinking game and is an enjoyable walk. Two issues remain. First the bunkers look manicured but they lack a good sand base. The result is its difficult to get under the golf ball in the bunkers and you tend to get skulked shots out of them. Second is the huge numbers of Canada Geese that make the course their habitat. You are dodging Geese droppings from holes 1-18. One hole was so bad, I spent more than half my time guiding the geese away from our playing area and the putting green. It's an annoyance that makes a great course less enjoyable

Love this course and enjoy the experience every time I get there. It has been a tough year on golf course maintenance and one issue showed up on my last visit. There are some bunkers where sand has not been kept up and you can't help but blade the ball. This needs to be addressed.

Course is in best shape in over 5 years. Just a perfect day on a beautiful course. staff was excellent as always,

Whirlpool is a very solid golf course. The day was perfect weather wise and pace of play was great. Never waited for the group in front and were never pressured by the group behind. The course was in good condition considering the amount of rain this year and the layout is very friendly. A lot of back and forth holes with not much topographical changes and very little water. Not sure it is worth the posted price but the golfnow.com rate made it a good value.

Even though it rained pretty heavily and there was some standing water in the fairways, the greens were still pretty firm and rolled nicely. Great layout and alwats well maintained. With the Canadian exchange it's even more of a deal for U.S. citizens. We will definitely be back!

Excellent condition. Very friendly staff. Very long course for an average golfer even from the white T blocks. Still enjoyable but shorten all the 200 yard par three's . Too many making it too difficult for seniors like me. Still a great day.

Nice track and in great shape. Big issue is out of their control........helicopters making noise all round.

Tourist Helicopters taking off and landing constantly 1mile away was deafening and spoiled the round.............we won't go back.

Bunkers a little rough but greens and fairways still good.

Course was in great shape . Greens are very firm and fast . Overall good experience.

Nice layout.

Warmly welcomed by prosjop attendee, not somuch by starter.

They give a yesrdage book which is helpful when its your fist tiem playing it.

The holes you see from the road are the most beautiful.

The par 3s are long .

I rated the value at 4 because I booked it with Golf now price otherwise would be a little steep.

Course was very nice, although I was hoping to see some more colour - flowers. Course condition was excellent, course is very fair and the staff do go the extra to be very friendly and helpful. Great day overall. .

Everything about this course is very good ...especially the staff , the carts are newer very nice , the course it self was in excellent condition ...played with my dad who is 75 and his friend , the par 3,s are longer than most ...from whites , We always look at the par 3,s ...don,t want to hit drivers and 5 woods 200 yrds and 180 + for the older guys not enjoyable, so played from the reds , 2 man scramble $5 a guy we ended up tied ...lol...1 guy dropped a 60 ft prayer from front left fringe just over bunker to a back left corner flag ...AWESOME finished at 72,s ...we had the best day of golf EVER ... all players were engaged and not over matched trying to hit as far as us younger guys ...was perfect ...wish more did this ...Had a blast ...greens were faster than you think downhill and slower than you think coming back up once you went by 4 feet ..was a challenge to get the speed right ...GREAT TEST FOR ANY HANDICAP ...HIGHLY RECOMMEND... a little sidenote ... don,t play this in the fall to many leaves can,t find ball , on front nine ..in my opinion

Good experience..first time at this course with Golf Now...Only negative was tourist helicopters flying above constantly.!!
