Whirlpool Golf Course

Feels like the course is not being kept up. Grooming, greens and grass care was not nearly good enough. Things like stairs and railings look like they have not seen a coat of paint in more than 10 years. I was surprised the course didn't have more of a polished feel.

Enjoyed our annual trip to Play Whirlpool . Course was in great condition. Pin locations on par fours were a challenge but enjoyed the smooth putting conditions. Great course in a lively tourist destination ...Niagara Falls.

The course is in beautiful shape . Now is the time to play before the leaf season

For many years this has been the best public course in the Niagara area. It has recovered from some problems that were weather related in the past and is in top notch condition.

This golf course is in pristine condition. Fast green, scenic views, friendly and helpful staff... All around we had a wonderful day!

Was in great shape only issue are the none stop helicopters Flying around

Well laid out course with various angles to keep it interesting. Good shots were rewarded, which is how courses should play. Beautifully landscaped which I did not expect for a public course. Only flaw was constant noise of helicopters nearby used for providing tourists aerial views of Niagara Falls. That said, I was alone so maybe I would not have noticed if I had playing partners. All in all, a great round on a lovely course. Also enjoyed a cold one on the patio overlooking the 18th hole. I look forward to playing Whirlpool again.

Always nice to play but five hours is too long for a game of golf. Marshall disappeared after the fourth hole and two groups ahead of us were brutally slow. Course in very good condition but some of the pin placements were very difficult for a public course.

I would recommend,we enjoyed the course, the layout,and the staff, everyone there is very friendly.

We are going to play again on Sunday.

Niagara Parks does a great job with the maintenance of their courses. Fairways are lines with trees so a good tee shot is vital. There's not much elevation change throughout the course and the greens are medium speed and generally flat. There are plenty of sand traps but not much water.

The only real negative about this course is the constant buzz from Niagara Helicopters.

Whirlpool is a classic design that should be played at least once. It demands a thinking game and is an enjoyable walk. Two issues remain. First the bunkers look manicured but they lack a good sand base. The result is its difficult to get under the golf ball in the bunkers and you tend to get skulked shots out of them. Second is the huge numbers of Canada Geese that make the course their habitat. You are dodging Geese droppings from holes 1-18. One hole was so bad, I spent more than half my time guiding the geese away from our playing area and the putting green. It's an annoyance that makes a great course less enjoyable

Love this course and enjoy the experience every time I get there. It has been a tough year on golf course maintenance and one issue showed up on my last visit. There are some bunkers where sand has not been kept up and you can't help but blade the ball. This needs to be addressed.

Whirlpool is a very solid golf course. The day was perfect weather wise and pace of play was great. Never waited for the group in front and were never pressured by the group behind. The course was in good condition considering the amount of rain this year and the layout is very friendly. A lot of back and forth holes with not much topographical changes and very little water. Not sure it is worth the posted price but the golfnow.com rate made it a good value.

Even though it rained pretty heavily and there was some standing water in the fairways, the greens were still pretty firm and rolled nicely. Great layout and alwats well maintained. With the Canadian exchange it's even more of a deal for U.S. citizens. We will definitely be back!

Excellent condition. Very friendly staff. Very long course for an average golfer even from the white T blocks. Still enjoyable but shorten all the 200 yard par three's . Too many making it too difficult for seniors like me. Still a great day.
