Used golfnow to schedule ahead of time
12:52 pm tee time, but there ended up being 2 leagues that day a group of 5 or 6 was before on the first tee and eventually everyone thought they were entitled to pass us because we were being nice and let a group of 2 and 3 behind them pass because they were friends and I guess playing together other than that fun course, long course at a good price.
Rolling Meadows definitely
Great rollout very dry fairs and wet tees. Good round
For relaxing at end of day be in no rush it’s kinda sloooow to get out to play and during play, grouchy starter but very friendly 19th and marchalling
6 Hour Round
A corporate best-ball tournament was allowed out on a Saturday morning, which meant six hour rounds for anyone behind them. Numerous non-golfers driving carts right up to greens, hitting in to other groups, etc. Won't be going back.
Great overall experience
Everyone was incredibly friendly right from the pro shop to the marshall, kitchen/bar staff. Amber, who drove the drink cart was an absolute delight, personalble, and her smile made my day.
The course is in great shape, and is challenging in an almost deceiving manner.
I golfed with a couple of members and would seriously consider a membership here.
Definitely a value for the green fees.
If there is a criticsm (and it's a small one) it would be that some of the signage is shoddy, basically meant to be temporary with handwritten instructions. Again, something minor but does take the lustre off the couse somewhat.
I will be returning, often.
Blair B.
Good course, good price.
Pace of play is a little concerning, and considering how many people play there. As long as you keep it moving you should be good.
Nice course but Niagara's worst cart paths
Save your back stay on the grass. A truck load of fine stone needed. Traps could use 4 truck loads of sand from beautiful Cleveland Ohio for only $600 a load.
July 4th Round
A fairly priced round on well maintained greens, play was slower than I’m used to (July 4th holiday, course was packed!) but still greatly enjoyed my time. Friendly staff and regulars who I joined as a single not my round.
Perfect weather and conditions
Course was beautiful, weather was beautiful. Only down fall were the 4 as holes trying to rush us while we had a single golfer and a group of 3 in front us, it’s the long weekend, enjoy the weather and vibes with your friends not complaining waiting for my friend and I to hit and rush us into the group in front of us
Middle of the road course that used to be good.
Haven't played Rolling Meadows since it's sale a few years ago and it has gone downhill significantly. What used to be a bustling golf course with a great bar/restaurant and separate very well stocked pro shop is all but gone. Both are closed now. Course has gone downhill significantly as well. Clover and plantain everywhere! Fairways were full of flowering clover that made finding your ball difficult on well played shots. Long overdue for some herbicide in the tank when spraying fairways. Greens were very thatchy and rolled on the slow side. Used to really like this course but unfortunately will not be playing again.
