Glen Abbey Golf Club

The valley holes make this course stand out. I really enjoyed playing Glen Abbey with my son on his 32nd birthday. I recommend everyone who loves golf to get a chance to play this gem. Course conditions great and friendly staff.

Enjoyed a lovely day at the famous Glen Abbey yesterday, and although the course / weather and playing companions made for a spectacular day - you leave scratching your head as to whether what you experienced was good value (after paying $300 a round).

I guess for first timers, it is a memorable experience on a course with lots of golf infamy and history - but I believe there are 50 to 60 in the GTA that are just as scenic / challenging / and maintained to a similar condition, that are half the price or less.

But let's face it - if they charge and people continue to come, good on them........but I think my time and money are better spent on a course that is equally as nice, but half the price.

Hard to lose a ball with massive fairways

Start early it gets hot mid afternoon

Cart battery died after 15 holes

Group behind us played through and slowed down everything ended up not being able to finish before dark

Amazing course and very good test of golf. Disappointed that back tees were not on the ground but still played them as i had paid for this.

Starter was very friendly and welcoming. Rest of staff was not very welcoming which is disappinting for a course of this stature with people coming from many places to play it.

Twilight rate should be earlier than 4:30 pm. Bearly finished in time for sunset.

It was expensive, particularly gods and beverages,. Cost aside though, the course was immaculate and the conditions pristine. I had only seen the course on TV but was pleased to find it extremely playable from the member tees. It’s the kind of course that you could play every day and not get tired of. I want to play it again!

The course is in good shape, considering the amount of play that it has received.

Some of the sand traps need work.

I played from the red tees. Many of them are dome-shaped and so you can't find a flat spot on them. Their alignment is not great, especially number 17. The tees are off to the right and your preferred line is blocked by a tree branch that sticks out into the fairway.

but biggest issue we’re a lot of cut grass not cleaned from fairways and 1st cut.

for a course of this caliber not reasonable. besides that course was fun to play and greens were very challenging and fun.
