About
Otter Creek Golf Club is situated in the idyllic farm community of Otterville, Ontario, which is only a 30-minute drive from Woodstock. The rural landscape was formerly farm and tobacco fields, lending a unique, rustic character to the golf course. The layout sprawls across 300 acres, winding through the scenic, wooded valleys of Otter, Cedar, and Spittler Creeks. Dick Kirkpatrick, one of Canada's top golf course architects, designed Otter Creek Golf Club. Kirkpatrick designed the course with players of all skill levels in mind, incorporating minimal forced carries and six sets of tees to make it more accessible for those who are new to the game

Great value
Honestly a 4.5 out of 5 ..nice layout and good mix of holes .. Only thing holding this course back from a 5 out of 5 rating is soft fairways and a lack of local knowledge to play the course well .. irons cut through fairways easy and a lot of lay up spots you need yardages to know what clubs to hit from tees and fairways so you need a yardage book or GPS to play properly. Greens rolled well and had lots of slope. We played the blues with pretty good winds up and it was a solid test
Nice Course Good Value
The course is made difficult by the long fescue (along with many other natural obstacles). In the opinion of our group, some of the fescue was mostly weeds making it impossible to find the ball when you sprayed a shot and could have been mowed. Otherwise a great day on the golf course.
Fantastic course
Excellent condition. Every shot makes you think.
I’ve played it about 70 times. Shoot terribly but still enjoy every minute.
Still under lockdown so n amenities for the next couple of weeks.
Not for beginners though
Marshall
Marshall came around and told us to speed up. Took us 4hrs to finish a round with a 15 mins stop at the turn for a couple drinks and a hot dog. The foursome behind us NEVER waited for us on the tee box. Completely unwarranted!!!
Hidden Gem
Although this course is not that easy. The course is very well kept. Greens are in great shape. Beautiful layout. A must play.
