Otter Creek Golf Club
About
Otter Creek Golf Club is situated in the idyllic farm community of Otterville, Ontario, which is only a 30-minute drive from Woodstock. The rural landscape was formerly farm and tobacco fields, lending a unique, rustic character to the golf course. The layout sprawls across 300 acres, winding through the scenic, wooded valleys of Otter, Cedar, and Spittler Creeks. Dick Kirkpatrick, one of Canada's top golf course architects, designed Otter Creek Golf Club. Kirkpatrick designed the course with players of all skill levels in mind, incorporating minimal forced carries and six sets of tees to make it more accessible for those who are new to the game

The course is very picturesque.
Each hole has its own type of challenge, and the layout is ideal.
I would recommend playing this course!
Excellent course! A must play
Great course worth every penny one of the best public courses . possibly the best public course for the money. Excellent shape always. Challenging course aswell, it will always keep u working.
Diamond in the rough
Very nice tough course well kept. weather was cold rainy and windy so made it even tougher. need a cart long walks between holes. Would definitely play again
Otter Creek great course!
A lot of character in this course. Shot makers dream, hidden targets, rolling fairways, a lot of toughness on the greens! Pick the right set of tees and enjoy! Enjoyed playing this gem!
Nice course but.....
Nice course but.... the bunkers werent raked and our round took 5+ hours.
Our group really like the lay out. Might give it another try but will have a tough time convincing the rest of my foursome due to the pace.
Most Enjoyable
Our day was mostly overcast, so, that was good, as the temps would have gone higher. It was muggy for the last 5 holes, but, that said, we had a very good time. The greens ran true with average speed. The fairways had some rough spots here and there, but, overall okay. This course has challenges over creeks (2 on #8) and a deep gorge on #9. Generally a very nice course to play.
Great Day
Course is in great shape. The greens seemed a bit slow but we had no one holding us up and were able to pay at our pace. Good value for the $. Course offers some good scoring opportunities but penalize you if you miss your shot.
Great golf experience
Wonderful course. I liked the varied tee boxes so you can make your shot a challenge. Also liked the elevated greens so making your approach shot more important. Great experience all around.
Could be better
This is a great course, but it could be better. The bunkers are not looked after well and many of the tee decks are in horrible condition. The tee markers need to be rotated more often.
The greens have improved immensely since the spring. That is nice to see.
Worth the drive
This is great course and good value for your money. It is challenging for the avid golfer but beginers can still enjoy themselves if they play the reds or whites. The course was in great shape and the restaurant was good after the round. Worth the drive for sure.
Awful Experience
Otter Creek is a beautiful course with an excellent layout. Unfortunately, my experience was completely ruined by the courses decision to pair us up with other golfers. I know this is common practice at golf courses, but it was completely unnecessary in this instance. There were no groups in front of us and our round took 5 and a half hours to play. The golfers we were paired with were completely disrespectful of all golf etiquette. They hit multiple shots on every hole, we’re talking through our swings, hit out of turn, and even drove their cart through a sand bunker. It was absolutely ridiculous and the marshal did not leave his parked spot at the first hole. I blame my bad experience entirely on the course. They made the decision to pair us up in an unnecessary situation and did not ensure to follow up with our group via the course marshal. Although the course is meticulously maintained, I would not recommend it to anyone that is not going as a foursome.
