Otter Creek Golf Club
About
Otter Creek Golf Club is situated in the idyllic farm community of Otterville, Ontario, which is only a 30-minute drive from Woodstock. The rural landscape was formerly farm and tobacco fields, lending a unique, rustic character to the golf course. The layout sprawls across 300 acres, winding through the scenic, wooded valleys of Otter, Cedar, and Spittler Creeks. Dick Kirkpatrick, one of Canada's top golf course architects, designed Otter Creek Golf Club. Kirkpatrick designed the course with players of all skill levels in mind, incorporating minimal forced carries and six sets of tees to make it more accessible for those who are new to the game

Course was fun to play
Proshop staff and clubhouse staff were friendly and efficient.
Great practice facilities and the course was in excellent condition.
It has some quirky holes like 9 but overall fun to play and plenty of tee decks to choose from.
A definite replay coming up.
Greens need complete redo
Grrens are in poor condition. Plan is to reseed and sand them all This is a fantastic course but at this point would not play for the next few months until greens are restored to their former shape.
An excellent course
This is a beautiful course in southern Ontario which is getting better every year. A challenge but fun for the average golfer.
MUST TRY
great course as always but some greens are not in the best shape which is unusual because I have played this course many times
Great Course and Tough
You need to hit it at least 200yrds or don't play, it won't be fun.
The traps are deep, both the hole and the sand.
Lots of trees, ravines, some water, no geese.
It's a beautiful place from the club house to the course
Use the practice area especially the sand trap, you'll need it.
The greens have had a bad winter but they will be back soon.
They were still fast.
They could improve the hamburgers.
I had to find something that I didn't like.
This is my favorite course.
Well worth the drive.
Winter was not kind to the greens
Although this course is quite a ways to go it's always worth the drive. It's a challenging, fun course. Pretty much always in great shape. This year the greens are not in great shape. Must be the tough winter. I'm sure they will get them in shape soon.
Great course greens not good, good value for the price .
Retiree
I like the course and the people are friendly, but not sure what happen to the greens over the winter, the fairways were in better shape than the greens
Heard great things
First time playing this course and as a mediocre to average golfer it was just enough of a challenge. The greens have been recently aerated and were not in good condition. Shots were fast and bounced all over the aeration holes. Other than that it was a wonderful day with a friend.
My new favourite course
This is a five-star course all around, but the greens definitely need work. Fantastic layout. Beautiful surroundings. Friendly staff. I played last fall and the greens were in rough shape then as well. I think the green aeration equipment that's slices rather than take plugs is far easier on the greens. whoever did the plugs on these greens didn't put enough sand down last year. I can hardly wait to play the course when the greens are in top condition.
Course lay out is good, nice practice area no one came out with beverage cart, the greens are not in good shape (winter kill) lots of sand and no grass ,the fairways were in better shape .I will try later in year again.
Greens were hurt
I love this course. It is a great test. Today however the greens have been hit hard by the ice storm in April and are in bad shape. Play it but the course should be providing a discount until the greens grow in and get back to their normal greatness.
18 Holes
I've played this course likely 20-25 times on a pay-as- you-play basis and it never gets old. Subtle changes to the tee blocks and flag placements give you a whole different look at a hole-changing clubs, managing the terrain, etc. You learn how to play a hole but then you need to execute. ALWAYS a challenge. Great track;very friendly staff;always a pleasure to play and after 18 holes, regardless of score, for me it's been a great experience.
great cond.
difficult but challenging, front nine very dry but back nine good condition
