Otter Creek Golf Club
About
Otter Creek Golf Club is situated in the idyllic farm community of Otterville, Ontario, which is only a 30-minute drive from Woodstock. The rural landscape was formerly farm and tobacco fields, lending a unique, rustic character to the golf course. The layout sprawls across 300 acres, winding through the scenic, wooded valleys of Otter, Cedar, and Spittler Creeks. Dick Kirkpatrick, one of Canada's top golf course architects, designed Otter Creek Golf Club. Kirkpatrick designed the course with players of all skill levels in mind, incorporating minimal forced carries and six sets of tees to make it more accessible for those who are new to the game

Very enjoyable.
The course was very enjoyable. It was well maintaimed but not pristine. There were some burn spots on the fairways. Some holes are extremely challenging like the 9th. The views among the mature trees were beautiful. For a course of this nature the price was very reasonable. I would love to return.
challenging and entertaining holes
worth the long drive from Mississauga
overall great value - golf course and dinner in club house
Great course in a great country setting.
The course was in great shape and the greens were really fast but running true. This is a beautiful course and the patio is a great place for a drink and a bite after a round. This is a course where playing from the proper tees for your skill level is important. The starter asks at the beginning of the round what tees you will playing, which is great, however there was no one on the course monitoring players.
It can not get any better than this !
We arrived for our tee time and there were only a few cars in the parking lot. We played in 3 1/2 hours and the course was perfect. Fairways and greens were on level with any private course. The layout is fantastic but still playable for most golfers. It is without doubt the best value for any course we have ever played. Go play and support this course. You will walk away impressed.
Each hole has it's own unique character.
Bring your A game. Fair landing areas off the tee but lots of trouble if you miss. Don't go in the fescue. Nice elevation changes throughout the course. Excellent condition and nicely manicured. One of my favorite public access courses in Southern Ontario.
Course in good condition. Has some very challenging holes. Staff decisions affecting golf experience was very poor
Enjoy playing this course most of the time. This last experience bordered on being unsafe. Very hot day. Teed off at 1pm. Saw refreshment cart once on front nine. Zero times on back nine. Actually had a group follwing us go in early due to heat related illness by one of their members. We actually didn't finish the 18th hole, either.
All kinds of excusses & apoligies, after round was completed.
Bottom line was that they did not look after their patrons on this day. Very disappointing for myself( 4th time there in last 2 years) & my out or town guest.
Excellent course and facility
I played this course in 2009 when they were not licenced and did not have a club house. This was my first return since then and I was quite impressed with what they have done. I look forward to my next round there. It's a course that is worth the trip. The value is unbeatable!
Always enjoy playing Otter Creek
Coarse was in great shape, staff was great but it would have been nice to see a refreshment cart out on the coarse.Hot day.
Great scenery
The staff was super friendly. We booked a twosome on golfnow but we had an unexpected third player to join. The staff charged us a twilight rate for the third player. The course has great scenery. We played white tee which is rather short for our distance(about 6000 yards). Should definitely try the white/blue next time.
A diamond in the rough
Otter Creek Golf Course was one of my favourite courses around! Pristine tee blocks, high rough, true greens.....this course is as challenging as it is beautiful! We played 36 holes in 7 hours. Well worth the drive!
A must play for the golf enthusiast.
Absolutely, the best challenge of golf. A hidden gem, that everyone in SW Ontario should attempt to play.
The course is in Beautiful shape!
We had a great day! As I said earlier, the course in beautiful shape!
Fabulous Experience
I am a member at a very good private club and I have played many courses around North America and the South Pacific
incl. Pebble Beach and The Olympic Club and Kapalua and Cape Kidnappers
This course in rural Ontario doesn't have to take a back seat to anyone. It is a fabulous track and it is great condition.
I will be back to play this course.
Always enjoy playing this course
We were met at the bag drop and the staff was very friendly from the time we got there. The course is always is good shape. Today the greens were slower than usual - it appeared they had not been cut that day. Some of the bunkers were not as consistent as others. Overall it was a great day of golf with friends !
this course lets you play every club in your bag
the course was in great shape from tee to green. the bunkers could use some TLC, weeds growing in some waste bunkers.
the Fescue rough was a challenge when you got into it. very pretty course as it plays over Otter Creek at several holes.
A beverage cart would have been nice on the course.
Incredible challenge and excellent value for a championship course
Otter Creek is an incredible golf course. The staff is very friendly and the practice facilities are top class. The food is excellent and the view of the 18th hole from the patio is a great way to finish your day off.
A gem of a golf course. Beware of Hole #9.
The day was perfect and the staff cordial and helpful. The course is well maintained and the fescue makes for a penalty if you have an errant shot which is fair. You will know how your playing partners handle life when you are finished.
Great value, well maintained, very challenging.
First timers at Otter Creek should invest in the course book($10) well worth it. Very pretty golf course, challenging layout. Number 9 is a particular challenge, requires two tough shots to reach the green. Great finishing hole. I would highly recommend Otter Creek.
very scenic, hope you enjoy the beach
Very much enjoyed this beautiful golf course, very challenging, play smart and you'll be OK.
a championship course in the country!!!
Friendly reception. We were a little early, but went out immediately. Tee boxes are fabulous and the whole course in excellent condition. If you like fast greens, this is the course for you.
