Coarse was excellent for the 6 holes I played. Unfortunately I could not get a rain delay from coarse or golf now. I didn’t no once you start round you loose out and cancellations

The greens are not to normal.

Best place to practice real putting, In my opinion second only to Osprey TPC north putting greens

All the greens have just been aerated. They tried to fill holes with sand but didn't do a good job. Had I known this during booking, I would not have gone.

Cart fee is over $30/rider which is highway robbery for those who are unable to walk the course...especially given the poor and dated condition of the carts!!

Well worth the $, walked can’t beat the $

It’s not an easy walk, with some good hills to climb, but very doable.. enjoyed it will be back

Greens run well, your putter needs to be hot

Just started play at Cherry Downs. Great layout which requires some thought on shots. Greens are quick and deceptive breaks. Work needed on tee boxes.

I gave played Cherry Downs multiple times this year and had a great experience every time, however, I would have to say, their fleet of carts need an upgrade

Legit no basis on the review

This place I paid 90 tax in with cart Friday morning and it was well worth it, way better value here than other courses I've played this year that are in the similar rating as this place. Based on staff friendliness and overall course conditions and experience this place is worth it at 90 over , Kedron, deer Creek , Oakridge , Watson glen and royal Ashburn. Cherry downs has better value golf than those places.

They treat this like a private course. It’s well maintained and quite scenic. There was one hole that had a pretty beaten up tee box, but I’ll let it slide because the rest of the course was great.

It’s becoming one of my favorite public courses in the GTA.

My review would have been more favourable if it were not for the cart fees. I think it is actually shameful. I played this course for the first time walking and returned with friends a week later. It was too hot to walk (I learned that the previous week) so we decided to drive and were charged $30.00 each for a cart, which to me is shameful. We were a 3'some so I had my own cart. Their carts are really old and worn but they obviously function. The steering on my cart was messed up to the point that it completely gave out on the 5th as I was coming down the hill approaching the bridge, causing the cart to crash into the railing once I got on the bridge. Kudos to the staff rushing out to replace the cart and even the employee said that the carts are old and tired, offering me his apologies. Sustained a slight wrist strain in the crash but nothing to prevent me from continuing the round.

I normally walk when I play but haveobviously rented carts many times before. During Covid courses decided to really up their fees on carts but have never seen a charge of $30.00 a rider. It's disgusting.

Staff there are amazing and friendly and the course is a fantastic track that is really challenging, especially the greens. Good value if you are walking.
