Delay
There was a 40 mins delay for our tee time and we we held up on two different holes for 15-20 minutes as it was extremely busy. From what I understand, Cherry Downs had a golf tournament the same day and not too sure why they had the public booking tee times while the tournament was on. They should allowed time for the tournament to be near completion prior to allowing the public to book tee times. It took way too long to play a round.
Clublink disappointment!
Slowest round of golf ever. Besides the pro shop, starter and half way house staff, (which closed early) I didn't see a Marshall the whole round. 6+ hours to play a clublink course like cherry downs? Never again.
delay 20 mins, players don’t follow rules.
There were patrons in this course who hit the ball not calling fore, not dress for golf, look obvious tipsy from alcohol, pace of the game is very slow. There was one dude shot the ball right on our tee box, came over without apologizing, demanding us move out of the way and insist hitting from our tee box. They do admit anyone into this course. Marshall isn’t really concerned about all of this.
Challenging track
Very friendly staff, and good value for the money. Challenging course if you are newer to golf, Very hlly and scenic in excellent condition when we played.. Despite choosing to walk over using a cart, we were never rushed by marshals during our round. Would definitely play there again.
Excellent condition and lay out
Had a very good time while golfing here. Conditions were excellent. Will definitely be back
