Black Diamond course layout has been redesigned since I last played. I prefer the original layout. The course is a challenging one with very “fast” greens and “tight” fairways. Despite its toughness it is fun to play. Makes you recognize whether you are a golfer or not.

Have played the course for many years as well as many others in the Region.

This is is a top five pick.

Friendly, well maintained, incredibly attractive.

It is one of the more difficult courses overall with its mix of links and hilly terrain but worth the challenge.

In recent years they have done an excellent job of making it lady friendly by adjusting the tee boxes so that my wife can have good positioning off the tees.

Nice course with some challenging holes. Greens were extremely fast and tough to putt today. No beverage cart amd did not see a marshal. Course was in great shape. A few blind shots made it a bit frustrating. More good than bad. Staff were friendly.

Course was in great condition, pace was ideal. Tee blocks need a bit of work but all in all much better than a few years ago.

Disappointed in the pace if play 5 hrs 10 min to play a round of golf unacceptable, No marshals on course to deal with the slow group in front of us .

I played Black Diamond several times, years ago when there were two distinct types of layout, an open flattish course and a wooded half with significant elevation changes.

The current course layout has reordered the holes so one gets to play open and wooded holes intermixed. A much more enjoyable experience.

A long course, lots of trees, hazards and elevation changes. Fast and hard greens, roll pretty true. Definitely a challenge. Bring your "A" game.

Even though I didn't play to my handicap. I found the golf course very interesting and constintly made you think yourself around the course. Staff was most helpful and very pleasant.

First time playing the course. I’m an average golfer shooting in the high 80s to mid 90s on most days.

This course was fast and I mean fast. Any shot you were probably looking at 40-50 yards of roll just based on the speed of the fairways and rough.

Greens were like glass very challenging with some very tough reads based on some optical illusions built in.

The above made for some tough holes on the day but an overall fun round.

My own personal dislike was due to the quickness and on the hard doglegs club selection was lower than what say another course would be of similar distance.

Well maintained and if I played again would understand the course a bit more.

Last time I played, the front and back nines were separated between open and relatively flat, and 9 holes in the woods with large terrain features. The current layout has changed this so that play includes both open and wooded holes on each 9. Very good improvement and the result is an excellent track.
