About
Black Diamond Golf Club was carefully carved from the foothills and hardwood and pine forests of the Kawartha Oakridge Moraine. The natural landscape, which is covered in fescue, provides many challenges including several elevation changes and water hazards. The layout is unique in that the front nine is more of an open, links style with a double green and numerous pot bunkers, while the back nine has a more traditional North American character. Black Diamond Golf Club's back nine has a few tricky blind shots that present a formidable test for players of all skill levels. The golf course also has rolling fairways lined with trees, carefully sculpted mounding, and 70 strategically placed bunkers throughout.

Slowest round I’ve played
3 groups minimum on every single hole is unacceptable…
Fairways and greens were in great condition for the drought conditions we have had lately. Elevation changes and views are spectacular. Some of the bunkers on the front 9 were pretty much unplayable...hardpan topsoil with small rocks, almost like they were cleaned out for new sand to be added. Lots of poison ivy along many of the tree lines lining the fairway. Don't know why it can't be spayed and taken care of but all in all great course for the money.
Good course. Will play again.
The fairways, and the greens were in really good shape, however the rough was a little dried out and hard. The one thing I would say is there is was too many hills, slopes and blind shots to all of the fairways. All in all a good course.
Never fails to satisfy
Second round here this year. Everything was in good condition. All the playing surfaces have been maintained to very high standards. The first and tenth holes are such confidence builders with the great elevation changes. Always a pleasure to play and no real heartbreaking holes. Back at it on Monday.

Beautiful course full of hills which make for some amazing views.
Great price on GN Hotdeal
Course is in great shape. Pace of play was poor at 3 pm. Delayed start for backlog and took almost five hours to play. Otherwise course is in great shape and starter was very friendly!
Tee time 254 pm. Course was backed up. Just shy of 5 hours to complete the round.
Course was in good shape and challenging. I was impressed with the cart screen that gave distances
Early season round
Value at full price is not there. Decent layout with contrast of links style and sticks course. Offers a challenge but not ridiculous. Would recommend waiting midseason.
