About
Black Diamond Golf Club was carefully carved from the foothills and hardwood and pine forests of the Kawartha Oakridge Moraine. The natural landscape, which is covered in fescue, provides many challenges including several elevation changes and water hazards. The layout is unique in that the front nine is more of an open, links style with a double green and numerous pot bunkers, while the back nine has a more traditional North American character. Black Diamond Golf Club's back nine has a few tricky blind shots that present a formidable test for players of all skill levels. The golf course also has rolling fairways lined with trees, carefully sculpted mounding, and 70 strategically placed bunkers throughout.

Tough Course
Tough Course but great conditions. A gem for the price point
Fun time
Beautiful course full of hills which make for some amazing views.
Great price on GN Hotdeal
Course is in great shape. Pace of play was poor at 3 pm. Delayed start for backlog and took almost five hours to play. Otherwise course is in great shape and starter was very friendly!
Tee time 254 pm. Course was backed up. Just shy of 5 hours to complete the round.
Course was in good shape and challenging. I was impressed with the cart screen that gave distances
Early season round
Value at full price is not there. Decent layout with contrast of links style and sticks course. Offers a challenge but not ridiculous. Would recommend waiting midseason.
