Slow people in front had us waiting all the time, yet, still got done in under 4 hours? So no complaints with pace of play I suppose.

Tee decks are beat up but rest of the course is in good condition especially considering the semi-drought in southern Ontario this summer.

Very challenging course. Best golf value I've scored this summer.

Glad cart was included.

Do NOT walk this course.

If you're a fan of elevation changes you're in luck. It's mountain goat.

This is a good paced course and fairly challenging. You will enjoy it.

Played the course about a month ago, and it was very dry and brittle due to the lack of rain. However, this time around the recent rain had greened things up considerably, so the course was in excellent condition Saturday.

There was a wedding going on so we ended up playing the front nine twice so we could keep moving along quickly. The marshal made the suggestion, and we're thankful for his flexibility.

This is a mature course with some tough holes, but it's a nice test of golf and the layout is pretty nice. Most holes are completely different from one another, which is nice.

Don't hesitate in saying it's worth the drive to get there!

We booked day before and got great rate and service at this lovely golf course...conditions were dry as we have a long heat wave in place over 30 c every day. Course was green where it mattered. Greens excellent and fast. A lot of holes are tricky with safe layups needed...helps to play a few times. Definitely will return. BTW a cart is a must as their are very long walks between most greens to tees

Before beginning our round, we were greeted by the pro shop staff who were extremely friendly and had amazing customer service. Off the first tee, the starting marshall controlled the pace of play, which remained excellent throughout the round. The course itself is in great shape, with beautiful green fairways and greens. The greens played firm, with a bit of roll resulting in a challenging day. All the putts rolled quickly, but played true, which led to some rewarding moments on the green. We called the kitchen on the 9th tee and ordered some food and were on the 10th tee in only a few minutes. The only disappointing thing about the round was the temporary fairway "green" on 12, which led us to pick up our balls and skip to the 13th - hopefully the usual green will be ready to go soon! Overall, a challenging and excellent course. I will definitely be back again.

This course has been rearranged. It used to be two very different nines needing two different sets of skills.That charm has now been lost. The greens were very hard on this trip and would bounce from the front off the back.

Bottom line is that one of my favourite courses has become one I wont rush to play again anytime soon.

Weather was hot but great. For how dry it's been lately, the course was in great shape.

This was a fun course. A few really cool drives Into the abis. Tees to greens where nicely laid out and well manicured. Not crazy about the gravelled bunkers though. A few of the forward tees could have been further down the fairway for my wife.Pace of play wasn't all that bad, though it was Monday morning. I really liked the mix of links style and wooded park like holes. (A la Deerhurst Highlands)

I played this course many years ago ... but enjoyed the new course layout with the mixing of the wooded fairways and open fairways

Challenging course for a beginner but worth taking if you can get to play at a discounted price. Cart highly recommended.

Played on July 18 and I've never played in that strong of wind. At times it was a 3 club wind. It made for an interesting day. I have 2 complaints: 1) some of the tee boxes are in need of repair. I realize it has been a very dry summer and it shows throughout the course, however, when you break a tee on the tee box it is time to add some water, and 2) the bunkers have a lot of stones in them and in some cases almost the size of a my golf ball--good reason to stay out of the bunker. Otherwise it was a great day of golf!

Excellent idea to move holes. Makes the court more interesting.

The course is in fair shape considering the lack of rain we have been having. Nothing a little rain or watering wouldn't help. Our only complaint was that we were following 3 twosomes and a single, we were a twosome and were followed by another twosome. No body seemed to want to join up and the starter just kept sending them off as twosomes which makes for a longer and more frustrating round then it should be. On a number of tee boxes there were 3 different twosomes waiting to tee off. Excellent pricing through Golfnow which we couldn't turn down.

I like this course but the stated reason for "rerouting" the holes this year was to sped up play by at least 15 minutes per round. on this day this was a dismal failure. I saw the "Marshall" 6-8 times and spoke with him at least 3. there was nothing done to move 2 turtle slow foursomes in front of us. Unfortunately poor players were allowed to play back tees and the two slow foursomes had 2-3 holes open in front of them. This course should never be more than 4 hours.

Slow play will kill this course and golf in general.
