Great 0uting
Excellent round at Pt. Dover. Course is in terrific shape especially after the rain on the weekend. Course and amenities have been upgraded considerably since last year. We had a cart with the green fee for @ $30 through GN. Wonderful deal!
good value for the money
Course hasn't improved that much over the last 3 years. Greens need to be cut and not just laid over
Generally very playable with smallish greens
Great course - friendly staff
This course is now called Port Dover, formally Lynn Meadows.. if heading out to Port Dover make sure you confirm the address of the club.. there are two golf courses and sometimes people make the mistake of going to the wrong one..
Super friendly staff and the greens and fairways were in excellent condition..
We played 18 in just under 3 hours..
Course has pros/cons
Great course. Well kept. Great condition. The reds/ladies tees have been moved significantly closer to the holes and subsequently the whites and blues moved up. The distance no longer matches distance on signage or score cards. As a female, I often played from the whites because they are now located at the old red tee offs.
Pleasantly Surprised
Drove out here from Hamilton because we couldn't find an early tee time anywhere. Was greeted in the driveway by Nick, a very friendly guy that went over the rules due to Covid. Very friendly staff from the front desk to the starter.
The course, except for a couple of uneven tee boxes, is in great shape. Beautiful fairways and tough but fair greens. We played the blues and found it to be a good challenge.
We walked, and although it was hot, it's not a tough walk. Lots of shade due to the mature trees on the course. That being said, keep it on the fairway, or you are going to be blocked out of a clear shot to the green.
We definitely will come back here and would recommend it to anybody.
Cow pasture.. with greens and flags
I’m not sure who was paid to write the past reviews but they made this course WAY more then it is! It’s your typical out in the country cow pasture
Greens were slow and bowl shaped for water run off
And the layout was typical back and forth
There wasn’t one hole on the course that I would say was a great hole... very basic and very bla
The staff were great, friendly and courteous
Aside from that there was nothing to this course
Thankfully it was a hot deal with cart.. not worth paying any other price
Pleasant but very humid day>
The course is following strict COVID protocols.Met before going in pro shop in our car. Explained all the rules and what was to happen. Hit some balls, since we were early. Strict distancing protocol. Got off ahead of time and 2 foursomes let us through. Greens were well kept and fast. Played in 31/2 hours. Enjoyed the day.!
Good day
Very friendly staff. Course in great shape. Decent pace of play even though course was busy.
Very Nice Course
Enjoyed our time golfing here for first time. Course was in great condition, however, course was in the process of updating the Red tees and temporaily had to relocate some of them. I found in some cases the greens were a bit smaller compared to other courses. Otherwise it was a very nice course and the staff was kind and helpful
Burlington
Fast turtle greens today.....strong wind from the west....
Always tough to stick a shot on these greens..
I always get 4 or 5 tree/branch impaired lies so keep it on the fairway...
Fun track to use all your clubs
TH
hidden gem
First time playing this track to see our friend who is part owner and used to be the Director at Hidden Lake in Burlington...
Shout out to John Cormier!!
This course has EVERYTHING for the 6 handicap (my son) and the 15 handicap me.
Lock and load on most par 4 and 5's and lay on some. Played the tips (blue)
Greens were all turtle or undulated and in great condition and fast....hint...club down and hit 10 yards less on approach...
This will be a go to to refine our games this year!!!!
Price is amazing...
Now I know the course the next rounds will be interesting.....we had a perfect day weather wise

Port Dover Golf Club
This course is under new ownership. You can tell. There is an influx of interest in bringing this course into standards that portray “we care about your experience and your business “.
Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, the responsibility of creating an enjoyable experience has been assumed by the staff at the course....it has not been left to the customer.
A greeter is stationed on the drive up. This greeter was very pleasant and the goal was to welcome me, inform me of the protocols in place for safety, direct me to the exact places I had to go to register, get my cart, and commence my round. The pro shop staff were cheerful, welcoming and genuinely glad that I chose their course to play. The starter was pleasant, grateful for my business and genuinely hopeful that I had a good round. The on course marshall was almost invisible, certainly not intrusive and genuinely apologetic for a slow section of play, took responsibility to ensure the pace would increase and delivered on his promise. The greeter upon exiting took time to ensure I had a great experience, wished me a good day and hoped I would chose them again for my golfing experience.
There were grounds people on every 3 or 4 holes, very respectful of our group’s time to shoot, but clearly invested in transforming the grounds into the best possible playing conditions.
The price was excellent value for the experience. The test of golf was very fair.
