Bathurst Glen Golf Club, situated just north of Toronto, is owned and operated by the Toronto and Region Conservation, who placed a heavy emphasis on environmental sustainability during the development of the course. Its commitment to protecting the natural landscape even earned the Bathurst Glen certification as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary course. The executive layout measures to 4,551 yards from the back tees, a manageable length for beginners but there are still some challenges in store for more advanced golfers. The large, undulating greens are balanced by wide fairways that offer plenty of room. The strategically placed bunkers adhere to the natural contours of the

landscape and trees frame most of the holes. Bathurst Glen Golf Club's signature hole is the par-4 14th. This tough hole has two sand traps fronting a sloped green.

Poor sand condition in fall

Green and fairway condition is ok for this time of the season. Sand condition is pretty bad. Bankers are either a pond or concrete.

late season aeration in progress

I would have prefered to know, before arriving at the course to play, that the course was being aerated. The back nine had just been aerated. I played again several days later, booked through golf now, and the front nine was not open because it was being aerated so I had to play the back nine twice. Would it be possible for this information to be made available before booking?

Nicely-maintained Public Course

Bathurst Glen is a very nice "more-than" Executive Par 3 course. The signature hole in my mind, is the 17th Par 3 over large pond. All carry! Alot of natural grasses and preservation areas. Driving range is connected to the course in front of property and very nice practice green near clubhouse. It would benefit from a better-maintained bunker suitable for practice.
Clubhouse is very basic. Good basic hot-prepared foods...burgers, hot dogs and cold sandwiches. Good value for those looking to improve short game and a reasonable amount of time on a golf course.

nice course for walking or beginners

Facilities are nice. Staff friendly.
I found it to be a bit on the expensive side even with the Golfnow discount.
Course is basically reclaimed cow pasture but that's OK. Not in pristine condition but it's flat and wide open so it's good for walkers, beginners and high handicappers.

great place- chance to use all your clubs in your bag

loved the most difficult hole #17 which made trip to course worthwhile and to me the most scenic hole

it is a recommended place for players that that love to grip it and rip it

great for ladies that have trouble with their driver normally to bring it out with no fear to just go for it

i recommend this place especially golfers that play infrequently and if breaking a new set of clubs would be perfect as forgiving wide fairways or practice round for better golfers

fairways were well maintained and do not know what is their formula but ball had extreme distance to them - ball travel further as there was alot of bounce on ground

i found you can use all your clubs at this course

Terrible condition.

This is a par 63 course that is in terrible condition. I can't believe they charge what they do for this course. It is so over priced. It takes forever to complete a round out here. I would never recommend this course to anyone. This is the first time I actually walked off the course before I completed 18 holes. At hole 14, I was sick of waiting 10 minutes of every tee before I was able to hit. And I can't stress this enough, the condition of this course was very bad. Save your money, dont go here. I will say one positive thing about this course, though. They have a very nice driving range.

Good executive course for money

Pace of play is good. Greens are receptive and challenging enough for good players. Best value for money in north GTA. Great place to practice your iron play.

Just - OK.

For a short muni course, the course is OK. There's nothing really fantastic about this place, but the course conditions are usually good. The unfortunate part is that they hardly ever have deals and because of that, there are usually better deals to be had elsewhere for courses that are longer and offer better bang for the buck. Still, if you can't travel far and are looking for a place in Richmond Hill, Bathurst Glen offers good conditions for the shorter hitter. However, personally I would rather drive a bit more and find a better deal on a longer course or pay significantly less to play a practice round on a less pristine course.

Had it's Day in the sun!

Course isn't as nice a track as it was in the past.  Lots of advertising all over the internet, but they should put their money into improving the conditions on the course.  The course will sell itself when people hear how good it is.

Decent pace. Well maintained. But only par 63

Course was empty because the weather forecast called for rain. Still took about 4.5 hours. Should be a little cheaper.
