Portal washrooms
Please have these washrooms cleaned regularly. They were smelly and used toilet paper were stacked in the toilet because the flush was not working.
Beautiful Day
I play the chorus regularly. It is good value for your money with some challenging holes. They have one of the best driving ranges around as well. Will go back.
Nice, friendly course.
I’m a beginner, and shoot roughly 105 on a good day. Ball is findable if you shoot wide. But there are more challenging holes too where mistakes are not as forgiving. A nice mix.
Course was fine; the air wasn't
My issue was the very strong and offensive smell that permeated the course on perhaps 5 or 6 holes. As best I can tell, the problem arises from the garbage/ waste treatment plant due east of the course. The air is probably fine with an westerly wind.
Great course, great staff except…..
We play this course on a regular basis, always enjoy being able to walk the course with ease, and it’s evident that the owner is investing to make the course even better. This past Thursday we showed up early to use the range prior to our round, but the friendly staff at check in advised that there is a fair bit of opening prior to our scheduled teetime so we can go out early if we wish. We decided to tee off early and enjoy a better pace of play.
We also took some time to find some golf balls along the way as there was no group in front or behind us as far as we can see. One the second hole, a marshall (the tall and slim built guy) came along and asked us to stop looking for balls in a rather unfriendly tone, at this point we can see that no group was in hole #1. So we moved along, but can spot the same marshall stalking us at every hole. At hole #5, that guy pulled up again while we’re fishing a few balls out of the water, this time he dialed up his unfriendliness to the max and accused us of STEALING balls from the course.
We stopped at the clubhouse after 9 holes (we finished 9 holes in just under 2 hrs walking) and filed our complaint with the manager who took a much reconciliatory tone and assured us that we’re not being accused of stealing. The points I want to make here are that a course marshall should not go out of his way to harass paying customers when their actions do not violate course rules such as damaging course property or negatively impact pace of play. We’re out there to have a good time and Marshall such as this guy can really harm a course’s playing experience when everyone else is doing such a great job.
Fun Round
I think Bloomington could be a world class facility for traing with a little creativity.
Course was okay. HATE the booking system. I will not golf this course again if I have to use the booking system currently in place.
