Booked course the day before on GN at a discounted rate. Despite the deal, it was a
most disappointing outing. The fairways have gone to quack grass and many of the tees were in similar condition. The par 3 tee boxes were very chewed up while the greens although in great shape were very slow. Of course, the cart paths are in horrendous condition (hard on one's back and behind) and the course's signage asks the golfer to stay on them and approach one's ball at 90. However, I noticed that many golfers were ignoring this. No beverage cart service, either.
Challenging elevations, stay on fairways or can be thick in 2nd cut. Played behind 2 gentlemen that were out to enjoy the day who kindly let me play through on the third hole. Thanks again gentlemen. Beautiful scenery and well worth the drive. Thanks Brant, although I didn’t play the best I had a great day.
Raining Day
Course was in good condition too bad it was raining on and off. Wish they had more staff on hand, no hot food was served. My buddies don’t mind playing there mind you need a map to get around, and it’s not a walking course.
Beautiful Valley Course
The Brant Valley Golf Course is not a very long course but if you play it from the blues it will challenge the lower handicapped players as well. Its an old style course with lots of beautiful trees and the greens and fairways are in great shape !!!
Beautiful valley course
Being in a valley affords several really dramatic elevated tees. This course is shortish but quite demanding of accuracy. A couple of driveable greens, but miss the fairway and you're in the woods or water. Pace of play can be slow, but more times than not it flies. As a single today, everyone was amenable to me playing thru, and I finished in well less than 3 hours. Its a very lush course with a lot of interesting holes.
Nice day, slow greens
Another great day of golf. Brant Valley is always a visually appealing course. Only negative today was the shaggy greens. They definitely need a cut and roll. Felt like I had to pelt my putts, even the close ones. This time of year should have fast firm greens. Just my two cents.
Great Day
Weather was perfect and conditions good. A great day for golf
brant valley
Arrived 40minutes before tee time. Course looked good, parking lot half full, no worries right, wrong.
Sat in line at first tee for 10 minutes, looks really slow, cart path only, lots of rain past few days, golfers aren't moving. Spoke to Proshop about going to 10 tee, all of a sudden there are four carts coming out of nowhere presumed from 9th hole. Decided to do the front nine anyway, mistake. we were behind two twosomes so slow, saw a foursome ahead of the two's very slow as well, can't win. playing thru wouldn't help. front nine took 2.75 hrs Ridiculous, even the marshals couldn't move people any faster. No tournaments at all. Back nine was a little better 2.25hrs. Seemed to be Grandpa and Grandma day. Never had this happen here before. Course was plush, slow greens good shape, no bugs. Can't believe the day, alot of upset people, all taking too long
golf
Nice course.Lots of rolling hill.Good shape.Well groom.
Brant valley
started out cold and drizzly, Ended a warm and a great day. Not really busy at all a few ahead of us and a few behind, no push. Back 9 was lonely slid through in 1.5hrs. Fairways were good shape, greens slow and tricky. Great place for any player to learn, not a long course, but long enough to give you some trouble.
Great day
Fathers day was well paced and the course was well kept.
Challenging but a fun course to play , good value for your money
Brant Valley
started on the back nine as a tournament was finishing.
no one else was on the course. Nice day greens were tricky, fairways were good, rough needed to be cut shorter. Layout of the course is good, need sand traps to make it more difficult. walk-able course, cart paths need work, the paving was bad.
Overall the course was in good shape, and very plush
Didn't eat in the club house, but have in the past, good food. My wife and i would recommend the course
Awesome
Drove a par 4 in 1 first time ever but still didn't get the eagle lol
