Brant Valley Golf Course

Weather was overcast and showered slightly but we had a terrific time at Brant Valley GC. Pace of play was fantastic, didn't wait once. Greens were in great shape and fairways were in good shape. Keep up the good work!

Our church is located in downtown Hamilton and we have been holding our annual tournament there for he past 20 years....It is about 26 km. one way from where most people live.....we have been rained on for at least half of the times we played... I put it to our regulars..."should we get a venue closer to home?" The over whelming response was an emphatic "no" we like the challenge and all those winners of our tournament truly deserved the prize.....The breakfast and service is outstanding.....thank you Brant Valley.....See you this year.......Larry MacDonald Co-ordinator

Playing in November anywhere is a bonus, but my round at Brant Valley was especially enjoyable. The course is challenging and conditions were very good considering the time of year. I will be back.

Excellent fall conditions for golfing and being mid-week, very few other golfers

very tight hilly course I walked and carried bag ,but only do if fit. Not a good curse if you are wild.

not too busy fast round short course poor clubhouse good value for 30.00 take lots of balls . very hilly for those that want to walk

NEED A MARSHALL TO SPEED IT UP ...STUPID SLOW

Played many times with many people, challenging course, only one I've never walked, and wouldn't try. Not a bad value after 1 pm, $30 round tops however. Tight fairways and greens make for a short, mostly dog-leg course. Bare spots on fairways, greens. Lots of water makes up for very few bunkers. I drew the line for the course after an angry greens keeper encounter, broken down carts, and $7.50 beer.

Hot weather has decimated this course. Fairways were brown and patchy, some greens were dried out as well. Had some very "unique" holes and as a first time patron of this course there were some holes that I didn't know where the actual hole was to aim my second shot at. That being said, I rode and the other golfers were very generous and allowed me to play through without issue. The staff at the course were friendly and accommodating as well. Not a bad experience as a hot deal round

green too narrow. T box shall be even and hardens.

Widen the too narrow fairways. Put more and real

sand bunkers. Cut some three branches for visibility.

listen the water hazards. Cut some at left side

of bunker for Hole # 1. For Hole # 3 clear up

tall grass and put banker at front of the green.

This course will beat you up! I can't wait to play it again soon.

Welcomed change from your usual parkland courses. Big hitters should stick to your long irons. Wayward drives will result in big time penalty strokes !! Fun to use every iron in your bag for once, though. Like most courses this year it could certainly use some rain. Will certainly be back!!

Would have been perfect if the greens weren't hard. But they were consistent so that made it easy. Other than that a really nice course

Staff were friendly, other then that the course condition was subpar poor, the groups of ppl in front were loud obnoxious, drunk and had absolutely no golf etiquette. A round of 18 does not take 5 hrs to play with 2 ppl. The marshals did absolutely nothing to fix the issues after multiple complaints. I will never golf there again.

THE TRAPS. FAIRWAYS WERE LONG ALONG WITH SLOW GREENS.

If you are looking for a scenic course this one will impress. The course layout can be tough if you don't know the best layup positions. If you respect the course and use proper course management you can really do well here.

Just a side note, keep your eyes peeled for maintenance crews. They can be very aggressive. Recently one grounds keeps ran over my ball and chewed it right up. After speaking to the course manager all he could do was apologize. But it seemed like he really didn't care.

So if you book a round just make sure you protect your ball at all times. Grounds keepers may destroy it or other golfers may cross fairways looking for theirs and take yours instead.

Nice challenging course. A number of small greens which can make approaches a fun challenge. Greens were a little rough but understandable for this time of year. Have obviously been recently worked on and top dressed. Had to wait out a frost delay but staff did a great job of getting everyone going quickly once conditions cleared up. Only complaint was lack of kitchen staff. Would have been nice to grab some breakfast during delay and there was still nothing available after the first nine. Overall a great day and fun course. Will definitely be back.
