Challenging but a fun course to play , good value for your money
Brant Valley
started on the back nine as a tournament was finishing.
no one else was on the course. Nice day greens were tricky, fairways were good, rough needed to be cut shorter. Layout of the course is good, need sand traps to make it more difficult. walk-able course, cart paths need work, the paving was bad.
Overall the course was in good shape, and very plush
Didn't eat in the club house, but have in the past, good food. My wife and i would recommend the course
Awesome
Drove a par 4 in 1 first time ever but still didn't get the eagle lol
Quirky
My second time playing this course and didn’t remember the layout. Too many blind shots to greens. But it’s a weird challenge. I’ll likely come back some time in the future and try it again.
Short, tricky course
This is a course that you have to hit your ball in the right area for your next shot. If you are long ball hitter this place may not be for you but if want to practice your irons this place is good.
Scenic course but needs a better map
very scenic course, hard to know where the green is sometimes, as it is quite difficult to see the green from a few holes. course was busy when we arrived but we were allowed to start from the back 9 so pace of play was pretty good. finished in 3.5 hours with hubby.
brant valley
Always interesting, every time you play, you see it differently. Today we didn't play well, slow, slow not because the course was full, just everyone played slow. It was cold to start and it warmed up and so did the pace of play. The cart paths need updating, pretty rough. Course is laid out well, traps were hard as concrete, hopefully they redo them for next season. Also the Carts need to be repaired or replaced, getting old and cranky, they need a mechanic onsite. A good course, we recommend this course for everyone
Never forget this course
It waa my first time playing this course, however I was little shocked because of feeling that I did not know this beautiful couse before.
Well maintained the fairways & greens.
Every hole is very challenging to keep low handicap, even though total distance is not over 6,000 yards.
Hidden gem for adventurous golf
I always have a couple of games here every year and enjoy the unique challenges the layout offers. Lots of blind tee shots, you can't see the flag. And some awesome elevated tee shots with majestic views. Intimidating for the beginners (like hole #2 & 11). Don't let the golf snobs who like to spend $80 for cement like greens and 3 putts, this course has charm for the true golfer. Tip# Let the group on the 1st tee finish the hole and give it 5 minutes after that, otherwise you'll bunch up at hole 2. Do this and you won't have to wait at any holes for your round.
Course was in pretty good shape. Group in front of us very slow, no knowledge of golf etiquette; ruined our day
You will be forced to use every club in your bag ... interesting. Some of the greens, however, players are blind to, so anybody's guess at times. Price was right, no pressure from players behind or in front. Just e few too many "chopped up " or zig zag fairways for my liking.
slow
We were a twosome behind two foursomes who were very slow. They showed no inclination to let us play through so we ended up skipping a couple of holes to get past. The starter did try to send us off on the back nine unfortunately they were very busy and we were unable to do so. Nice course overall with a good variety of holes.
Interesting course
Challenging course and in pretty good condition. However cart paths need work. Pavement very broken up and extremely bumpy. Had a small tournament in morning which made back nine very slow. 10 minute wait on each hole. Recommend taking cart. Have played many times and will go back.
