About
Tucked away in the Blue Mountains, The Club at Lora Bay offers a stunning view of the Georgian Bay. The golf course was carved from the mature woodlands along the Nipissing Ridge, incorporating wildlife preserves and century-old barns into the design. The scenic course even features idyllic apple orchards along the fairways. While the rustic charm can be enchanting, don't let it distract you too much from the challenging layout. Numerous bunkers are strategically placed throughout and brooks and ponds come into play on several holes. The third hole is one of the toughest on the golf course. It is the longest par-3 with a pond that runs all along the right side from tee to green and trees and a tricky bunker to the left.

Along time waiting
Golf was very slow, and the on course Marshall said 5 hours was expected. I wish they'd told me that upon booking, as I wouldn't have gone. Expensive for what it is, even without it being slow. Would not go back.
Great layout poor service
Lora Bay was in great shape. Warmest day in weeks. Saw beverage cart once after hole 4. No water on course due to covid so would have expected better out of place charging what Lora Bay does. Especially with heat and humidity. Also always had to wait on 2somw infant of our 4some. Marshall said they were on pace. Not Cceptable answer. Especially for 2some
Challenging course with great views!
We had a great day playing Lora Bay. Staff was friendly and helpful, course is well maintained, challenging layout and greens, and really nice clubhouse and restaurant. Highly recommend this course.

Not Worth The Fees
4 of us played Lora Bay for the first time. Although the course was in good shape, no way is it worth the price we paid.

In short, a nice challenging course but not worth the price!
Slow and too difficult
4hr 45min round on a Tuesday afternoon. Too difficult for average duffer which slows it down. Cut the rough! Course doesn't make good use of potential views. And with all the construction that will get worse.
first game after knee issues
It was another game for me at the course as we play there a number of times every year but the weather was wet and rainy so there was minimal roll and the greens were difficult to read --- not the fault of the course just the rain
Nice to see Lora Bay again
Returned to Lora Bay with some buddies. Last played 7 years ago. Course layout was better than I remembered. Not terribly busy with a midweek teetime. Pace of play and course conditions were both good. Staff could have been friendlier, especially given the premium price point. I feel there is better value in the area, though fun to return to “The Club”.
Good round
Course and starting staff amazing. Lack of on course beverage service was a bit annoying as you would think the potential revenue would be attractive.
Overall great facility.

Despite the Extreme Heath the fairways and greens were in great conditions never a bad lie...
