About
Tucked away in the Blue Mountains, The Club at Lora Bay offers a stunning view of the Georgian Bay. The golf course was carved from the mature woodlands along the Nipissing Ridge, incorporating wildlife preserves and century-old barns into the design. The scenic course even features idyllic apple orchards along the fairways. While the rustic charm can be enchanting, don't let it distract you too much from the challenging layout. Numerous bunkers are strategically placed throughout and brooks and ponds come into play on several holes. The third hole is one of the toughest on the golf course. It is the longest par-3 with a pond that runs all along the right side from tee to green and trees and a tricky bunker to the left.

Superb golf in Collingwood Area
Very friendly staff doing a great job of dealing with COVID. Overall great conditions and some superb holes
awesome for us
everyone at this club is so friendly. cautous around COVID but so nice. we being to private clubs in toronto and Arizona and Lora Bay is very friendly, gorgeous course.
Great layout
Great day. Great layout. Either water or fairway bunkers to deal with on every hole. Residential Construction on back 9 was a little much but has to be done sometime.
A very enjoyable afternoon with golf and nature. Well worth the drive to Thornbury!
I really like the course but shame on you Lora Bay, during this pandemic we pay for cart included if you book a 4some and are not from the same household A....be prepared to walk or B...have to lie.... not cool Lora Bay, not cool.
Excellent
Amazing course, beautiful landscape. Challenging but fair with the right club selection. Only thing I had a complaint about is the fact that it was cart path only when I played, which made the pace a bit slower and you really had to watch and think about your selection of clubs before leaving the cart and hope you were right.
Carts for all players during covid
Was not impressed when we got to the course that a cart is not being offered to all players. Purchase the round that included a cart but was told that unless you're from the same household only two carts for a foursome and if you're not, you're forcing the other person, A to lie or B walk...not right Lora Bay each player pays the round that includes a cart ESPECIALLY during this pandemic.
In consideration of all that is going on, there were staff to guide you, answer questions,some construction going on but play has been moved around it in a very safe way. We were able to use the driving range, putting green. The ball retrieval system from the green is brilliant.
Perfect track
The rain stopped on the first tee deck. Had course to ourselves. Well maintained fall day and very few wet spots if any after large rainfall. Love this course. Got it for a steal on a hot deal, couldn’t pass it up.

Lora Bay Experience
Would play it again anytime. A very good day with a group of friends. We were the only group of 8 that stayed for dinner and the staff was excellent.
Nice layout
We enjoyed the layout. Unfortunately, it was foggy and rainy that day, so we weren’t able to enjoy the nice vistas we had heard about. We couldn’t see anything.
Pace of play was great, because there were very few players out that day.
I would like to go back and play it again on a nicer day.
Premium track in Georgian triangle
An excellent layout with outstanding Course Maintenance. A fun track without any gimmicky holes. Although a little pricey we managed to Lucky into a promotion which made it worthwhile.
A must play for anyone who loves golf and finds themselves in the Collingwood to Meaford area.

Great day of golf, with one hiccup
Great course and round!
Battery in golf cart died on the 16th hole, half way up a very steep hill. Wasn’t a safe place to break down. other than that great experience.
