Uplands Golf and Ski Club

This course is very challenging but yet with spectacular views and beautiful mature trees,must walk the course to appreciate what’s all about.

Tight but short course. 9 holea only. Greens were well kept but very slow. One fairway was in terrible condition and should have been closed.

Overall a pleasure to play with two gentlemen.

The layout of the course is just ok.

Hole #3 was just awful. Amenities really need attention especially the bathrooms.

I wish that a cart option would be incorporated in the deals on Golf now

I would call this course fun. Very pretty views and elevation changes, however the layout causes you to backtrack the way you just came and can expose you to heading straight into tee shots. The conditions of the course are rough, the tee blocks are pasture like however the greens are ok. Cart paths are terrible. Paid $30 + tax for 2 players with a cart for 9 holes so the price was cheap. Filled the need, my wife is just getting into golf so it was a good place to take her for low prices.

I want to start off with some positives, the staff at the shop, the younger maintenance staff and cook are amazing at this course. However, the third hole is unplayable, the guy driving the fairway cutter drove over my ball, I tried looking for my ball in the bush and got yelled at, and the older staff don't stop smoking. Would not recommend going here at all, they treat their staff terribly. While there was a heat warning, I watched a younger staff member rake bunkers all day without assistance or water. No uniforms, very unprofessional, bad course.

Lots of hills. Most people rode the power cart.

The holes were actually really nicely laidout.

A bit soggy here and there. But, got a pretty good hot deal.

I played golf with my friend today. Golf course was very interested and staffs also very kindly. I will strongly recommend this course.

This time played from the white tees instead of the blue tees and course was easier for me to handle.

greens have improved - course is tight and shots must be played perfectly to score well

I haven't played Uplands in years but it is still a great 9 holes in the city. Greens and fairways are well kept for the most part but it could use some work (details below)

#3 had a sewer line buried under the fairway years ago and the fairway is like riding a roller coaster through mud. They really need to truck in some soil to raise it up, level it out and get the right grass out there.

# 8 the mens white tee deck is not open and the tees have been moved to the ladies. This takes a challenging 190 yard par three and makes it much easier at 150 yards.

Food and Beverage. We've played twice in the past two weeks. The first time we were there in the mid afternoon and the cook had gone home after a tournament so there was no food. The second time we were there in the morning, and found out he didn't start until 11AM

Patio: Lovely patio but the webbing on the chairs is ripped and there aren't enough chairs there. It is a lovely location, would like to spend time but needs new furniture !

This is a golf course that just needs some investment and TLC.

The sand traps need to be raked out. It is like hitting from cement.

Has some first time players play so the course was quite generous and patient.
