Uplands Golf and Ski Club

I am new to the city and came to play the course to see if I liked it in order to be a potential member. My wife tagged along to walk the course with me and to see if she would enjoy it as a member as well, however due to an injury she is unable to play. The staff informed me that she was not permitted on the grounds unless she paid a green fee. This is literally the only time this has happened to us in 15 years (often she just walks with me for the exercise). Just a pure money grab and unprofessional, also turned away potential members with this borrow-sighted “policy”. I will never be back.

The place is in amazing shape considering how much rain we had. the greens were impeccable

First time playing in the course. I’m not a great player but had a super awesome time. Exciting course with tons of great obstacles!

Some tough and challenging holes. Dare anyone to hit the green on 8!

Great exercise if you choose to walk.

Always a fun course to play. Holes #4 and #8 are really challenging, but signature to the course. Hole #3 is perpetually swampland, and is worth skipping altogether. Worth playing 9 at the GolfNow rate for sure.

Just 9 holes but perfect for a relaxing play, I was glad to take the cart though, it was tough to walk about.

This place is well position in the city! It’s a great 9 holes course! Enough length to practise short games!

It’s a little hilly for walking! Greens were good!

Only thing it was a bit muddy on the 1st 3 holes!

Should have better signs for moving on to the next hole! The 9th hole was not indicated for up the hill!

But overall a nice course!

Will come back again, as the pace of play was good! Didn’t have to wait much for each hole! Hopefully it’s like this all the time!

Hazards or water creek should be indicated better on the last hole, as U can’t see the faraway further out!

Should also have a cleaning area for the clubs near the clubhouse at end of game!

Should also have an outdoor patio for sitting out on a nice day!

A good fine for within the city!

Overall I liked the course. The value for money was good using a hot deal, but paying full price I definitely feel like there's better value. The course's strong areas were nice charges of shooting up and down hill, and the course layout is pretty nice. The courses biggest issue is that its 3rd hole is an absolute nightmare. You cant walk on to the fairway (if you can even call it that) without having your shoes literally fill up with water (if I go back I'm skipping that hole).

I and my friend satisfied and enjoyed golf game. All staffs are very kind. I recommend this course.

Not big but beautiful and kind staff , shall recommend.
