Golfer Reviews
Just as expected
This course is a short 9 hole course which is close to my home. There was quite a bit of construction ongoing and the wet weather had taken its tole in some areas. The staff was very freindly. The course is overall tricky given it's terrain and layout but below average in distance.
Overall it was as expected for a quick 9 holes on a Sunday afternoon.
Fun Executive 9 hole course
Construction around the 3rd hole has been ongoing for a long time
Probably the best 9-hole course in the GTA
This is a scenic and challenging 9-hole course that i highly recommend checking out. The third hole was under construction (reason for the low condition rating) and I have heard pace of play can be slow at times. However, for us it only took 2 hours to get through the 9 (it was a nice sunny October Sunday).
Favourite holes: #4 (don't be short), #7 (loved the mansion on the left), #8 (from the blue tees), #9
You use every club in your bag
Ultra convenient just off Yonge street and the 407. Very hilly so if carrying your bag you need to be in good shape. Greens have greatly improved over the last while. Still has the most challenging par 3 in Canada.
great
the course is not easy and very challenging. also it was very good maintainence. but there was construction on course without notice which is reduce some point.
not well mantained
not well maintained and a lot of steep slopes, one hole is under construction.
Very laid back, very challenging
Uplands has become one of my favourite courses. The pace is reasonable, everyone seems very laid back and no one rushes you.
The course is very well maintained, though one hole had construction in the middle of it. I liked this course so much though that it didn't even bother me in the slightest.
Since its a ski hill in the winter, the layout is very unforgiving to miss-hits. Bring a lot of balls and expect to lose even more if you are a novice player.
A lot of fun on this quick 9 hole course.
