Professional Course
What a course! Myself and my three playing partners played the Legacy course. We played from the Whites.
The course is tough yet very enjoyable. The greens are lightening fast, almost like putting on a pool table.
We had so much fun, even though we lost a ton of balls and all played over 100 each. Ha!
If you go, enjoy a professional golf course, that cares about their grounds, their image and of course the customer. We’ll be back!
Great course. Awful carts
This season I’ve played at Woodington Lakes legacy and legends a total of 6 times. Out of the 6 times, 5 of those my cart just stopped working. I’ve complained every time, and I’m always told, yeah it’s a problem our carts have and we don’t know why. I’ve had to stop playing and call the clubhouse. Wait for staff to answer my phone call on the golf course (which can take a while), have them drive out another cart for me and then transfer all of my clubs and belongings to the new cart. It’s extremely frustrating since the course itself is one of my favourites.
This has happened to several of the carts in our group as well. It is a problem they need to fix before i go back there considering it is not cheap.
Sign of Direction
This legacy course does have a great layout and green conditions are great as well. But a little confuse in-between holes. They should have put more sign for directions, and a few holes they might want to considering put on name of legacy instead of new course which abit of confused me as I'm first time playing this course. Otherwise no compliant of the course, and I would definitely come back to challenge this course again
Loved it...
Absolutely loved the course, great pace of play, well designed holes and would definitely recommend. The ONLY NEGATIVE, we ended up teeing off on the 18th hole of Legendary instead of finding hole 1 for Legacy. Need more adequate signage. Same thing ended up happening near the end of the day looking for 14 we ended up on 17.
Definitely will play here again!

It was a pretty windy afternoon, overall the course was in OK shape, it looked like it was a brand new course still
working on cart paths which were like sand traps pretty large. It wasn't worth the $83.00 though , I would pay around $65.00 for this course .
Next time I would like to play the Legends it looked in better shape.
This course plays well regardless of handicap
The layout of each hole is designed to challenge every golfer. Loved the fairways; greens where challenging with somewhat wet conditions. Look forward to playing there again
Legacy course
The course actually is not ready for playing. Cart path not paved and greens are firm, many fairways are under repair and the greens will not hold the ball. The price is too high for the course value.
Woodington Lake - "Legacy Links"
First time there, a challenge to get to the first tee through the pine forest, but signage was sufficient.
Not too much water and generous fairways to accommodate my son's big swings.
Greens and fairways excellent condition.
