Century Pines Golf Club
About
Century Pines Golf Club features a lush, parkland layout covered in mature maples, oaks, and pines. The trees border the carefully sculpted fairways and there is mild undulation in the large, fast greens that can cause the occasional uneven lie. Water hazards come into play on 12 holes in the form of large ponds and meandering creeks. Several sand bunkers are also strategically placed throughout. Century Pines Golf Club's final three holes are the most challenging on the golf course, possessing the ability to either make or break your score. These demanding holes require deft approaches, especially considering the treacherous water hazards on all three.

Always good value
Always one of the courses I consider playing. Course was in excellent shape, the greens were dressed with sand which was slightly disappointing but otherwise there were no issues. Good value and always a fun course to play.
Value for Money
Not too difficult for beginners. Enough challenge for low handicapper. The course is in great shape.
Glad you enjoyed!
Great value for golf and food
The course is challenging when you pick the right tees for your skill level. Most holes are good with some strategy required. Couple of holes could be improved on (like 16) with a little work. Some water damage that reflects work required to improve the course condition so that it drains better. They were working on hole 4 to address some drainage issues which is encouraging to see. They continue to do upgrades which is nice to see on a public course. Course coition compared to other courses in this price range is excellent.
The restaurant and patio has undergone significant work and is really nice. Standard food is available but for the more adventuresome there are many daily specials that are first rate - kudos to the kitchen team!
Some cart paths need work as does some of the signage. Pace of play is generally good but some holes seem to attract a crowd. Playing in 4 hours is usually not an issue.
bad customer service
The day I went golfing looked as if the weather was going to be great. Upon arrival, it started to rain, hail and then lighting/thunder. I know this is not the courses fault, obviously, but as I was checking in, I was guaranteed by the staff, there wouldn't be a weather problem, as the rain always goes around them. After about 15 min, the rain stopped, cleared up, got sunny, so I started my round. Got to about the 5th hole and it all started up again, but much worse. Decided to call it a day. Went to the pro shop to get a credit for the round to come back again. Thinking I would get a 18 hole credit, but they actually only gave me 9, since it's their "policy" because I played more than 1 hole. This is not what any other course I have been to does. I should have been given 18 holes, since I barely played half the front 9.
Call Carlo. It should be 18 as per our policy.
Great Value
Great value for this course. Challenging but not very long. Course gets water logged easily but otherwise course in in great shape. Can't beat the value!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed the round.
Nice course if you have patience
Forgot that century pines stacks their tee times so close together. First hole is a par 5 and has 3 groups on the hole at the same time (green, fairway, tees). But it doesn't open up after and even as a walker you're always waiting to hit your next shot. Course itself was in really good shape.
Great course, great rate
I love this course. It's challenging, yet trying. Only criticism is that the course is not well marked direction-wise. We missed a hole because the tees cross over each other and the hole markings are not always easy to see. I recommend more signage, or painted markings on the cart paths to allow golfers to find their way from hole to hole more easily.
Great feedback. We will work on the signage. Thanks
Great course. Always enjoy playing here. Course was in excellent condition. Great price. The only negative was that they were backed up and we got off late and the pace was slightly slow. But overall, very enjoyable course
Thanks. We will let our golf pro Carlo know.
Great challenging track
I played Century Pinea for the second time in 3 weeks. This is an old classic course with beautiful trees everywhere.
It os very challenging from the back tees, with a reasonable lenght and the challenge of placing the ball in the right spot on the fairways.
Greens are very good, fast enough to be fun without being pga fast.
Pace of play was good.
Staff is super friendly, one of the best courses I played in the area.
Excellent conditions, good value.
This course does not drain particularly well so the grounds crew struggle with soggy conditions. This means you should be prepared to hear "cart path ONLY" from the starter. That said, the course was wet but otherwise in excellent condition. The course is ust challenging enough from the appropriate tees. The staff are friendly and accommodating. They have a first rate dining area and patio with more than the usual fare (hot dogs, sausage n burgs) and all that we tried were tasty and good value. An excellent experience. My group will play there again!
Beautiful and well maintained
The course is in excellent condition. Fairways and greens were well maintained and overall it is a beautiful setting. Signage between holes was lacking and we found ourselves looking for the next tee block on a few occasions.
Overall a great day on a great value course.
We will work on our signage!
Good Variety
Despite the record rainfall we have experienced this year the course was in very good condition . Easy course to walk and score on if you stay on the short grass .Greens were a bit slow but otherwise rolled true . Hope to play again this year .
Good Course for a Fair Price
Five of us went out on Sunday after the rains. Had a great time! Malena at the turn was a doll! Played the front in two hours and the guys behind us (a twosome) said we didn't hold them up at all! Not very busy due to the weather. Course was in good shape considering the rain. Glad we walked as most holes were cart path only or 90 degrees. No rain until we were driving home. Always a fun course with some challenges. Thanks!
Thanks! Will let M. know you had a great time.
EASY TO PLAY
A good layout with holes side by side and wide fairways except for one or two holes. In very good condition given the recent wet weather. One complaint though the greens are not nearly as quick as the practice greens so don't bother practicing there.
Price is very reasonable for an average test of golf.
Tip
Golf was good. It is important to know that this course does not take cash. This can be inconvenient if the machines are slow. Seems crazy to have to use plastic for a $2.85 bottle of water. I wonder if it impacts the tips earned by cart staff?
Thanks for the feedback, we will have to make sure our Proshop let's our customers know when the sanding happens.
