Century Pines Golf Club
About
Century Pines Golf Club features a lush, parkland layout covered in mature maples, oaks, and pines. The trees border the carefully sculpted fairways and there is mild undulation in the large, fast greens that can cause the occasional uneven lie. Water hazards come into play on 12 holes in the form of large ponds and meandering creeks. Several sand bunkers are also strategically placed throughout. Century Pines Golf Club's final three holes are the most challenging on the golf course, possessing the ability to either make or break your score. These demanding holes require deft approaches, especially considering the treacherous water hazards on all three.

Course is in great condition
Course is in great condition, nice fairways and great greens.
Never Again
We have golfed here before and love the course. But the last few times it has been insanely slow. This last time took us OVER 6 hours for 18 holes. When we went to the clubhouse to complain; there were other groups there complaining too and the kid behind the counter said "if you played here regularly then you'd know better that it's slow."
Not a professional answer, I said to that answer that we would not be back, to which the staff said
"Good. If less people came then it won't be so slow". Unbelievable.
Love the course; but don't go unless you plan on wasting an entire day there and being del with the snottiest staff ever hired.
Very Slow
Course was in pretty good condition. Pace of play was very slow. Too many golfers!
The greens were very well taking care of
I liked the course and was amazed at the condition it is in. I think the starter should tell us about the course. For example color of the pins etc. sometimes when you buy a deal on golf now or wagjag you get treated differently thenYou would paying full pop. This wasn't the case here and the staff was very friendly. Some of the bunkers were not raked but that's not really a big deal. I hope I have time to make it back there this year
Excellent course
Typical Kaneff course, well maintained, nice layout, I won't wait another 10 years before I play it again. Only concern is golf now deal never includes cart at this course.
Fabulous golf course
I played for the first time at this awesome course and so unbelievably cheap rate was a bonus.
Strongly recommend this place to all of golf lovers!
beautiful course in great condition
was a great day on the course . weather was great . staff was very friendly , pace of play was excellent . course was in terrific condition , would play this course many more times .
This course is sliding
This is the third time I have played this course this year. This course has always been a favourite of my friends and I - we used to consider it an outstanding value. But this year things are sliding, so much so that I'm not sure that we will be back. The last two times they have been doing routine maintenance (cutting the fairways around the greens, etc.) in the middle of the day and they don't stop even when you are trying putt. This last time they were sanding/fertilizing the greens as we played. Again not stopping as we were putting. I don't understand why the maintenance staff aren't out at first light. This is not a course in the middle of a subdivision. We tee'd off at 8 and it was tough to find a cart that didn't have garbage in it. The washrooms were filthy and had no soap. The first time we played the course in the spring it seemed that half the fairways were under water. Nothing was said before we went out and no discount was given. We really like the course but all these little things cut into your enjoyment.
Nice course
The course is in great shape! Period! Only tough thing is playing in heavy due conditions where the ball gets covered in grass clippings etc. Top 5 in green and fairway/teebox conditions so far for me this year. Easy walking course as well. Nice layout!
Nice course for the price
Played 18 and walked for $30. Enjoy this course because it has one nice straight holes and some challenging ones as well. Good mix for the intermediate golfer.
Century Pines
If you're looking to challenge your game... This is the course! It doesn't play long BUT you need to know your shots otherwise you can find yourself in some trouble :)
Great deal for the money!
If I hadn't used GolfNow to book my round, I expect I would have paid a good 25 to 30 dollars more than what I did, using the Hot Deal option.
Within minutes of my booking, I received confirmation from GolfNow regarding my round; I arrived at the course, picked up the cart keys and scorecard and was off with our foursome for some fun and golf.
Great Condition and Freindly Staff!
The course was in awesome condition and the people were great! Even the marshalls gave me some helpful tips on how to approach a few holes. Fun challenge for a course that isn't too long but lets you get the driver out a few times.
nice course
Overall course was in good condition greens and fairways were in great shape. Problem was the pace of play. We played at 12:50pm on a Sunday afternoon and the round was 5 hours and 42 mins......
It looked like the course was double booking walk up guests and golf now guest.
One other concern is keep aware as you play ,many fairways connect with other holes and greens that you can be hit into from all directions. Bring a hard hat.................
I was pleasantly surprised
Course was in great shape.. it was challenging.. I'm a high handcapper..didnt play to well, but found the course fun.. used all the clubs in my bag.. and the price was great...
It shouldn't take that long!
Played on Jul 5. We knew it would be slow,, but teeing off at 12:21 and walking off the 18th and 5:48 is crazy.
Tee times must be to close together as the course was backed up on the second Tee! Never saw a ranger, marshall all day long.
Course was in good condition, no complaints, fairways were nice, greens rolled way and were quick in spots. Sand was ok a little shallow for my liking.
It's no wonder they relentlessly advertise deals, I guess most people just feel it's part of the deal.
I
This course made you think before bombing away!!
This was a very challenging course . with risk reward hole all over the place.. Made you think about every shot and what your next shot would entail.. Greens were fast and undulating so playing your ball on the green was very important .. easy 3 putts on some of the greens ..
Good mix long and short
Plays very well. We'll be back. I Recommend this course to new golfers and advanced.
century pines review
Course is in exceptional shape.
Playing from blue tees is a good test.
Staff are fantastic.
Starters very friendly and marshalls are great.
I wanted to sit but could not
We played behind a tournament so it slowed us down considerably. We waited on every hole 6 and onwards.
Sometimes there were two groups on a tee as we approached.
Having said that we finished 16 in 4:45 (got rained out for 17 and 18).
It seemed like a lot longer.
But while we waited on every tee there was not a single bench to be seen anywhere. Had to resort to sitting on the grass.
The course was in great condition.
The mosquitos were bad so take some DEET.
It's an easy walking course.
We paid $27 walking rate. So it is good value for that money.
