Century Pines Golf Club
About
Century Pines Golf Club features a lush, parkland layout covered in mature maples, oaks, and pines. The trees border the carefully sculpted fairways and there is mild undulation in the large, fast greens that can cause the occasional uneven lie. Water hazards come into play on 12 holes in the form of large ponds and meandering creeks. Several sand bunkers are also strategically placed throughout. Century Pines Golf Club's final three holes are the most challenging on the golf course, possessing the ability to either make or break your score. These demanding holes require deft approaches, especially considering the treacherous water hazards on all three.

Excellent conditions, good value.
This course does not drain particularly well so the grounds crew struggle with soggy conditions. This means you should be prepared to hear "cart path ONLY" from the starter. That said, the course was wet but otherwise in excellent condition. The course is ust challenging enough from the appropriate tees. The staff are friendly and accommodating. They have a first rate dining area and patio with more than the usual fare (hot dogs, sausage n burgs) and all that we tried were tasty and good value. An excellent experience. My group will play there again!
Beautiful and well maintained
The course is in excellent condition. Fairways and greens were well maintained and overall it is a beautiful setting. Signage between holes was lacking and we found ourselves looking for the next tee block on a few occasions.
Overall a great day on a great value course.
Good Variety
Despite the record rainfall we have experienced this year the course was in very good condition . Easy course to walk and score on if you stay on the short grass .Greens were a bit slow but otherwise rolled true . Hope to play again this year .
Good Course for a Fair Price
Five of us went out on Sunday after the rains. Had a great time! Malena at the turn was a doll! Played the front in two hours and the guys behind us (a twosome) said we didn't hold them up at all! Not very busy due to the weather. Course was in good shape considering the rain. Glad we walked as most holes were cart path only or 90 degrees. No rain until we were driving home. Always a fun course with some challenges. Thanks!
Thanks! Will let M. know you had a great time.
EASY TO PLAY
A good layout with holes side by side and wide fairways except for one or two holes. In very good condition given the recent wet weather. One complaint though the greens are not nearly as quick as the practice greens so don't bother practicing there.
Price is very reasonable for an average test of golf.
Tip
Golf was good. It is important to know that this course does not take cash. This can be inconvenient if the machines are slow. Seems crazy to have to use plastic for a $2.85 bottle of water. I wonder if it impacts the tips earned by cart staff?
Great shape!
Course is in great shape considering the wxx we had lately!
Thanks for the feedback!
Great fairways!
I really like this course. All Kaneff courses are great. Greens were slow. Fairways were soft and spongy due to wet weather. But reaaallly enjoyed the course. Would definitely recommend it!
Thanks. It really has been a wet spring!
Flood Zone
Recognizing its early in season, but this course does not drain well at all. It should not have been open as there were lakes on the fairways. We lost a few balls dead center in the fairway as the ball plugged out of sight.
It is always a challenge opening in the Spring at Century Pines. The conservation dam above us seems to randomly flood our course. We will do our best to make sure we open appropriately. Thanks for the feedback.
Great course for scoring.
The layout is a little shorter than most but puts more demand on shot placement and putting. The shorter holes let you score more frequently and the greens have a lot of undulations. Great last round for the season.
Century pines
Good value for the money. Course was in very good condition.
Thanks
Slow Round on Saturday
I like this course. Unfortunately, a lot of duffers play here. Also guys who play from the tips, but shouldn't. At this time of year, no marshalls out. Knew we were in trouble when the guys ahead of us were wearing jeans and could only hit the ball 100 yds. at a time. No red tee blocks either, so I guess they don't expect any women out this time of year. I would still recommend this course though. Just suggest that you get out before 9 a.m. Our fault for playing too late in the day, but it's too cold in the morning these days. No sun and some wind, but nice enough not to wear too many layers.
Thanks for the honest feedback. Pace should still move, Marshalls are needed.
This course has good value for the price
The course design is a little funky but it seems to be always in good condition. The pace of play can be good or slow depending on the time of year. The workers are all around which is great for the course but can interfere with play. My real complaint is with the players who play this course. Almost every green has ball marks that have gone unrepaired. This was frustrating as we fixed numerous marks on each hole. Friendly staff in the clubhouse. Good value for around $30.
Thanks for the feedback. That is really good. We will pass it along to all the managers.
Bad day to play
The weather was beautiful and the condition on the course too. But there was a tournament and people in front of us were learning how to play. Made the round so slow we had to quit at the 14th hole. The sad thing is that the marshall did not do anything about it so for a Kaneff golf course it's a shame!!!!!
Will pass along to our pro. Hopefully the proshop did something for you.
We will work on our signage!
