Century Pines Golf Club
About
Century Pines Golf Club features a lush, parkland layout covered in mature maples, oaks, and pines. The trees border the carefully sculpted fairways and there is mild undulation in the large, fast greens that can cause the occasional uneven lie. Water hazards come into play on 12 holes in the form of large ponds and meandering creeks. Several sand bunkers are also strategically placed throughout. Century Pines Golf Club's final three holes are the most challenging on the golf course, possessing the ability to either make or break your score. These demanding holes require deft approaches, especially considering the treacherous water hazards on all three.

Great Experience
The staff was very friendly and helpful from the beginning. The course was well maintained (as it should be with this weather) and the groundscrew were all courteous when players were hitting. Great scenery and good lay out for a challenging course for low 80 players.
some good some bad
Course is nice shape but the cost of carts r insane paying 40 dollars is crazy also when we got to the course they started sanding the greens ahead of us as we were playing but did not inform us that they going to be sanding which was painful
Great Value
Many interesting holes. Fairways in great shape - the greens were being treated with a sand mixture so made putting a little tricky. Long drive from Oakville for us but worth it!
Lay up on the par 5's
Very pleasant experience. Some hidden hazards in front of the par 5's so check the course layout and your distances if this is the first time. Fairways and greens in very good condition but a pity that many players do not replace divots.
nice mix of holes, easy, solid, challenging
This course is very well maintained, has friendly staff both in the proshop and volunteers out on the course. Marshals are seen regularly and unless you are really off line, lost balls are not a factor. Divots are not an issue, greens are well maintained but not lightning fast. Will put into my regular rotation of play.
Great course
Enoyed the course a lot. The course is in great condition. Greens were tough to read. No other course for better value at 30.00 on a Sunday.
nice course
very nice course, par 3's are challenging and the rest of the course makes you think.
Excellent greens
This course is in great shape. At first we started at the back 9, got worried that we would be crammed on the front 9 but no problems. We played without any delays. Greens are in great shape and would do it again.
Very slow round, 5 1/4 hours.
We've played this course several times this year, and generally it has taken 4 1/4 hours or less. But on this Sunday afternoon it took 5 1/4 hours, and the course marshalls did nothing about the pace of play. This is unacceptable.
This course can be dangerous
The fairways are close to each other and ball flying all over.
The greens are beautifully maintained.
Way over booked. Took 6 hours.
Too many bookings. 3pm round ended at 9. Was dark by the time the round ended.
Decent course, poor service and pace of play. Avoid on weekends!
There is potential for this to be a nice course. The track is interesting and the designer has really made the most out of a limited area. However, if my experience this weekend is anything to go by then this course should be avoided on the weekends. Our tee time was 1.14pm on Saturday and we arrived just in time to see the final groups of 2 back to back tournaments teeing off. The net result, a 5 hour round and a course that had been cut to shreds by, what were clearly, two tournaments worth of absolute hackers. The tight nature of the course definitely didn't help the situation as the entire round we were treated to various yells and curses as the tournament groups shouted abuse at each other across the fairways. In fact just about the only thing they didn't shout was "fore" as on three separate occasions a stray ball came within feet of hitting us without any shouts to give warning. The final insult was the fact that during a 5 hour round where we were waiting on every shot, the cart girl came around to us once! It was on the 6th and we never saw her again despite the fact that we'd left a credit card with her to start a tab. Having said that, maybe I should thank them for that because it meant I saved the money I'd have spent on the 4 or 5 beers I would have bought had she been around more often.
As I've said though, all the issues were with the other patrons and the lack of service. I could probably gripe about the fact that a course booked 2 tournaments on a Saturday morning (who does that?!) but I'll leave that. As a track it looks to have great potential and I'd recommend it for a weekday game when it's quieter but I'll not be back as I only ever play on the weekends.
Challenging and affordable
Really enjoyed Century Pines - the undulating greens were tougher than I expected and the course was well maintained. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone and would go back again.
Decent affordable course close to the GTA.
Friendly staff, course seems to be run properly. ie. tee'd off on time, lots of Marshalls out there
Staff are great
I hadn't played this course for a couple of years and so I was reminded why - the 2 most difficult holes on the course aren't just challenging, they give the impression that the course designer simply ran out of ideas and money how to handle some naturally existing waterways. The fact that one is hitting blind shots into this miasma is just frustrating and basically luck. Surprised to find the fairways in quite poor condition in many places but that may be due to generally damp summer weather.
Nice condition
Course is not very long but is good. May need more sign for each hole.
great value
This is a great course! Great fairways, playable rough and awesome scenery. Very affordable!
Beyond my expectations
I have avoided playing here for years because ove never met anyone who has played it and gave it a glowing review. This is an above average course with narrow landing areas off the tee and possibly the best greens i have played this year (and ive played more than 20 courses this year)
Tip - dont start on the back 9. 10, 11, and 12 are birdie holes and you dont want to play them cold.
