Century Pines Golf Club
About
Century Pines Golf Club features a lush, parkland layout covered in mature maples, oaks, and pines. The trees border the carefully sculpted fairways and there is mild undulation in the large, fast greens that can cause the occasional uneven lie. Water hazards come into play on 12 holes in the form of large ponds and meandering creeks. Several sand bunkers are also strategically placed throughout. Century Pines Golf Club's final three holes are the most challenging on the golf course, possessing the ability to either make or break your score. These demanding holes require deft approaches, especially considering the treacherous water hazards on all three.

Great Value
Definitely a course I'll return to. While it is on the short side, course management is important. Cute creek wanders through much of the back nine and it pays to choose your targets accordingly. Greens were nice to putt on, fairways were good, sand looked great (I managed to avoid it).
Great value for money
Easy walking course, great value for money. Some interesting holes requiring some strategy.
Excellent layout, Good fall conditions
Excellent layout. Course in good shape for Fall, super greens but no teeboxes or fairway markers.
This course is a new favourite.
Great value at the GolfNow rate.
Picturesque and in good shape for this late in the year
Some very interesting holes but experience could be improved with better yardage indicators. Yardage on the sprinkler heads would be most helpful.
Avoid Playing until next year.
Normally I would recommend this course during the summer months but now I would not recommend this course be played until next year. They gladly take your money but do not offer tee blocks, ball cleaners or even worse no yardage markers.....how hard is to take this down when the season is finally over and not before ?
"Great Fall Stomp"
Gentle on the the ego, yet assertive in the breeze, Century Pines Golf Club offers great value, all season round. Staff are accommodating and always willing to facilitate your experience. For those who enjoy shoulder season play, it's a definite must for the golfer can't get enough.
Enjoyed the course and the golf-variety of holes
Played in the fall with lots of leaves. The course was doing its best to collect the leaves.
Great value for a very nice course.
The course was in great condition, is plenty challenging from the blue tees, and an unbelievable value at less than $40. The first time I played there last year I was hesitant going in because of the "cheap" price. But everytime I play there I am always amazed that this course is 1/2 the price of many comparable courses in the GTA.
Good value
The course is excellent for walking with greens and the next tees close together. The course is usually in good shape early or late in the year. The greens have been aerated but are recovering.
The guys who work the pro shop are not friendly or helpful, very dismissive. The starter was great though. When he saw how backed up the first tee was, he allowed us to go off the back. Three and half hour round on a busy day.
Can't go wrong with Kaneff
Really that statement says it all...if you are looking for a good day of golf...head on over...
The only downside...could be a bit cheaper...but hey...it is golf....
:)
i loved the course
i had a very good time and will use you all the time
Good variety of holes.
There are no borring holes on this golf course. Very nice, but can be slow.
good mature course needs some TLC and better on course marshalls
This is a good mature course but conditions need improvement. Pace of place is way too slow in weekends. It needs better marshalling to move slow playing group along.
Century Pines
Great course for the novice to advanced player. Course conditions are excellent. Overall a great track and great value
This course is in great condition.
I played the course on a very rainy day and was only able to play 12 holes - regrettably so. I intend to play this course again though the drive to get there is rather long.
Very nice layout with mature trees
People went out of their way to accomodate us as we showed up on the wrong day.
Will return this fall.
Really enjoyed the play.
course is great, club house service and food falls down
Course is always well maintained. Enough challenge to make it interesting but doesn't beat the average player up. Clubhouse service and food below average which is unfortunate as there is no where else to go after your round.
Nice Track
I have played Century Pines about 10 times now. I keep coming back because it is always in good condition and is usually around $30 to walk. The pace of play is never consistent here though. This is probably because of the wide variety of players that book here on golf now. The course is set up well for a smooth well paced round of golf but is just a bit to challenging for a beginner or hacker and this can lead to a very slow day there. I'd caution those type of golfers to stay away more than I would caution regular golfers not to go.
This course has a bit of everything to test the average golfer. Love it, Friendly staff
I'm in my mid 60's and play to about an 18 handicap from the whites. I really enjoy the facilities and have recommended Century Pines to at least 8 of my other friends and also played it with them. They all agree that it's a great course and the price for us seniors is right. Too bad you can't give us seniors a bit of a break on the carts as well. The pace of play whenever we have been there, is also very good. I live in east Oakville and I will make that drive everytime and not complain. Played yesterday and had my best round this year. Shot a 40 on the front nine. Great job to the grounds keeper for managing the course is such great shape. The greens are always in great shape and that is so nice. Great job guys......Best regards
Conditioning always exceptional.
Challenging course with positioning a must from the tee boxes.
Greens always in very good shape.
