Mill Run Golf Club - Championship Grist/Wheel Course

About
Located just 40 minutes from downtown Toronto, Mill Run Golf Club offers 27 holes of golf that provide three unique 18-hole layouts. In addition to these championship golf courses, the club also offers one of the best 18-hole, executive golf courses in Ontario. The Grist/Wheel Course sprawls across the rolling hills of Uxbridge, incorporating many elevation changes into the layout. The front nine, the Grist, has generous landing areas off the tees but requires accuracy on approach. The back nine, the Wheel, is more heavily forested that the other nines. The course finishes with two strong holes, both of which are slight doglegs.

Enjoyable
A fine course. Seemed a bit dry on some fairways, but overall OK. I'd play it again.
overpriced
I can not believe how busy this place is, way over priced. Some of the Greens to T box on Grind are ridiculously far but pretty, definitely not for walking. Fairways were hard and sparse on grass in a lot of locations. Greens were very good. They are very weird on power carts even though you can load your stuff on it they wont give you a key so its not a shortage issue and no carts to the driving range. Just for that alone I wont go back.... they treat you like children.
Good value through Golfnow. Course in great shape, except for greens, reasonably good but patchy & rough in spots. Some pin placements unfair.
Solid course
Solid course, excellent greens with challenging pin placements, a few brown spots near the greens, but overall good course.
Could be better
Rough is dry and inconsistent, lots of dirt patches, needs more grass. Updated rates, need updated turf.
Spring conditioning
Fairways had a lot of winter kill
Pin placements were tough
Course nice and dry
Could have been 5 stars with a more friendly starter.
Given that your tee time is up and you have check-in with the Starter in advance. It make you anxious when the Starter care less about you awaiting for your key to the golf cart for over 10 minutes while he chit chat with the other random golfers passed by.
Excellent challenges late in the golf season
Played the Wheel for the front nine and the Grind for the back nines. The weather was all things Sunshine, windy and a wee bit cool (brrr), but otherwise great day for November in Ontario.
First time to experience the Wheel with its interestingly challending opening few holes for a 75 year young duffer. Didn't score well but will look forward to facing the challenge in the future.
A thouroughly enjoyable day golfing as well as off the course at the 19th hole. A wee dram to warm me with a nice sandwish.
Well done Mill Run looking forward to coming back next year
