Mill Run Golf Club - Highland
About
The Highland Course is Mill Run Golf Club's 18-hole executive course. The course has been rated as one of the best executive golf courses in Ontario. Highland is a great alternative to the club's three championship courses for golfers who are pressed for time, and for juniors, and seniors. The golf course offers a player-friendly test for beginners and high-handicappers, but more skilled golfers will appreciate the short-game practice. Most golfers find that every club in their bag is used during a round on this course. The undulating terrain provided by the rolling hills surrounding Uxbridge, located just 40 minutes from downtown Toronto, offers a scenic golf setting

Golfer Reviews
good course for short game practice , we were rained out @ 11th hole
Great par 3
Greens pretty good for par 3 coarse
Grass thinning out in some areas off the fairways, so of you can keep it on the greens from the box you will really enjoy.
Great value
Nice little course. Nice lay-out, good elevation and some really pretty holes. Club house is not great for sure so one can grab a beer and lunch at the main club house at Mill Run.
Okay
Great day to be on the fairways. We had a lot of fun with the competition today. Although, I wished I played better.
Good value for a seniors course
It’s layout derived from an outstanding 9 hole course
The layouts footprint is within the original 9 therefore
many par 4s are really 3s.
The greens are smooth and well kept.
The traps were getting some maintenance that day.
I enjoy the course but I’m no longer a big hitter so I really
Don’t mind the shorter holes.
My worst game ever but not the courses fault.
I would recommend the staff repair ball marks before play.
I had a blind shot to 18 and just missed one of the staff
In a bunker. I apologized
The staff used to have to wear hard hats not so now.
Pace of play and course condition
I was a little disappointed with this course in all honesty… I’ve played it before a few years ago and don’t remember much from it other than it being very small. Par 3 course, so good to practice short game. However…. The condition of the course was pretty poor, fairways and greens burnt, tee boxes not well groomed and the layout was all over the place. The pace of play was atrocious, I was a single player and played through 4 groups until 1 group wouldn’t let me play through so I was stuck waiting to tee off on every hole for almost 15mins. Really screws up your momentum in a round of golf way people in front shank the ball into the bush then persist on trying to find it with the entire group…. Also whoever schedules the tee times did a poor job at spacing out the groups. Probably won’t play here again.
Slow play, course was rough
I was very surprised at this course… I’ve played here a couple years ago as it’s a great course to practice short game. However the greens, tee boxes and fairways weren’t in the best shape and the pace of play was SLOW, waaaay to slow… course was over booked groups we’re playing over top of one another and people wouldn’t let you play through. I was pretty disappointed to say the least.
Fantastic scenery and course management status
First rounding with my best friend and wife
Although it was raining, I was able to have a good time on a well-maintained course. I will make a reservation again soon and enjoy the beautiful course again.
