Mill Run Golf Club - Highland
About
The Highland Course is Mill Run Golf Club's 18-hole executive course. The course has been rated as one of the best executive golf courses in Ontario. Highland is a great alternative to the club's three championship courses for golfers who are pressed for time, and for juniors, and seniors. The golf course offers a player-friendly test for beginners and high-handicappers, but more skilled golfers will appreciate the short-game practice. Most golfers find that every club in their bag is used during a round on this course. The undulating terrain provided by the rolling hills surrounding Uxbridge, located just 40 minutes from downtown Toronto, offers a scenic golf setting

Still room for improvement
The bunkers condition were not too good. Tee platform also in terrible shape and several holes were moved forward due to renovation so much shorter.Fairways and greens still good.
Great cheap course
Course is very reasonably priced and in very good condition compared to some other courses that are twice the price!
3 holes Under construction and a few tee boxes order repair as well other than that it was good.
Question if I would recommend, normal I would but not at the moment.
Terrible conditions
5 or 6 holes are under repair thus the tees were moved up. I was not advised if this during booking. Pace of play extremely slow.
Overall a good course for beginners
course in good condition and fairways n greens are in good shape. Several tee platforms, the 16. 17 hole, are under repair or renovation, so distance cut short. Lots of maintenance staff on site and a good sign of maintenance work to improve the course. Some paths need leveling and so are some tee platforms as well. Overall a good course for beginners or if one wants to practice short irons. Check in was smooth with friendly n polite staff. The beverage cart is always around n is good in this hot weather. Overall, a fun course to enjoy.
Amazing course for beginners to get a feel of different terrain slopes
The course is short at only 3,500 yards but there are enough par 4s where you can pull out your driver or longer clubs. The course is different from others as there are no water hazards, but more bunker hazards and very hilly terrain which is great for practicing awkward shots. The course was very well maintained and the off-course amenities are amazing with a chipping/putting free area and a cheap range ($12 for large bucket).
Very basic layout
Good course for juniors or beginners . Otherwise it is very boring course .
Executive. Scenic. Quiet. Challenging
Elevation changes povide great views and lower greens give you feeling the ball is floating in. Will leave you wishing they could add a couple thousand more yards (will try their Grind full course soon). A few holes require the driver but provide forgiveness if the long ball strays. Threes are target golf; fade or draw, straight if the wind permits. A great course for the mental game - you’ll need all your irons working. Would be a 5 star if not for three tee boxes being rebuilt (be upfront and post this on your site!). If finished at the same standards, I’m looking forward to playing this one again. Great value for your dollar = $50 with cart. Worth the drive to Uxbridge.
A Gem in the rough
I booked a round after being away for a couple of months due to a wrist injury, While I did not expect to play an executive course, I was glad I did as it eased my transistion back unto the game. The Tee Boxes were Ok, with some were still suffering from last winter's irratic weaher conditions. Most of the greens were smaller in size; however, the greens were immaculate and sneaky fast... which I enjoyed greatly.
I would recommend playing this course to anyone, particularly those wanting to practice playing their irons. I would play this course again if it was closer to me, as I live in Missisauga and this was a good 1:10 hour away.
Interesting Day
The course can be challenging with fairways mostly undulating with very little flat fairways there was always a hill in play. Course condition was pretty good except it rained for most of the 27 holes I played. Greens ran well healthy amount of trees in play missing fairways are not very friendly to look for a ball.
fairway width was tight in some places.
A few par 4 required perfect Tee shots or your line of sight to the green would be blocked for 2nd shot. Wish I knew that before I tee'ed off on those holes.
Overall the course played well I would recommend for a good challenge
Good Value
Good course, good value. Only problem was they were repairing at least four of the tee decks. So the horse played much shorter than usual.
Easy Exec. Course
Pretty average, and if you are out for a quick round at an easy course this is a good pick, but is it worth the drive if you live in Toronto - I’d say play the other Mill run courses they are better.
Nothing fancy - Exec. Par 3
This is an executive par 3 course, not overly challenging just hit it straight and 170yds and you’re good. Some new tee boxes in development.
