Twenty Valley Golf and Country Club
About
Located in Vineland atop the scenic Niagara Escarpment, Twenty Valley Golf & Country Club takes its name from the 20-mile creek, which comes into play on a number of holes, that carved the valley that runs through the golf course. The idyllic, rolling landscape provides plenty of dramatic elevation changes that cause tricky uneven lies throughout. The layout features large, undulating greens that are known to move fast and several strategically placed bunkers. Twenty Valley Golf & Country Club's signature hole is the par-3 13th, which plays uphill and over the Twenty River to a medium-sized green that is precariously perched on top of a stone wall.

Very Long
As a Senior golfer, I found this course very long. Some of the holes from the forward tees were close to 400 yards. Some holes were very reasonable. Course needs another set of tees.
Hardly any Geese
a semi-private course tucked away in Niagara wine country provides a fun challenging round. Some of the holes are weird like 9th green and 10th tee down in a valley from which you have to emerge to continue down 10. Watch out for guys teeing off on 9!! Some pretty holes and challenging water hazards. Choose your tee blocks wisely because blues and golds can put you in a position where anything less than a perfect shot will put you in trouble i.e. on the first hole the ditch crossing the fairway is at 237 yards from the blues. the greens were ample and in excellent condition with some nasty pin placements. the green on 12 was hard to see from the fairway and caused me to make my second shot in the wrong direction anyway, we had a fun round and as I said earlier there were only a few geese and they were hanging around the irrigation pond and affecting only 2 holes moderately (I really hate geese on golf courses).
Hidden Gem - Must play!
If you never played Twenty Valley, then you are missing playing a beautiful challenging golf course in the heart of Niagara. This is a must play for anyone that loves golf and features one of the most challenging par 3's anywhere. A must play hidden gem! :)
Over-priced for quality of layout
This is a course that charges to much money for the quality and location of its layout. There are some interesting holes especially the 18th and some of the par 3's but this is not an extraordinary course by any means.
some holes tight...drive it straight or it will be a long day..
Course was in pretty good condition...although the greens were moderate speed..a little confusing finding your way around...next hole paths not clear or not at all...some holes the greens to tee box very tight..challenging layout...you will need to be accurate with your drives and if the wind is up as such was the case for us, it can be very challenging...good value - will go again..
Great course to Enjoy the Day
Fairways and Greens are fantastic shape. Love the course and layout. Several challenging holes.
Challenging, great value
Interesting course; narrow fairways, lots of elevation changes and required carries over hazards. Par 3s for guys quite long. Several long par 4s for women. Fast greens.
Enjoyed the round.
Proshop staff, dining room and other course personnel, were all friendly.
We were driving from Toronto to Niagara on the Lake and the course was not too far out of the way.
Added bonus: fresh fruit stands along the road; great pies from Peach Country Farm Market in Vineland.
Beautiful Course
First time playing here and was very impressed with course and condition. Layout is great and has a nice variety of holes. Greens are generally elevated and do not accept running shots well. Wind is a big factor and blew briskly all day. I enjoyed playing and will definitely return here.
Great Course to Play
From the moment we arrived the staff at this course were prepared, cart was ready with names on it and all of the little things were done extremely well.
Fairways were in great shape and many holes were challenging, particularly some of the long par 3's.
Will definitely play it again.
Good Round
Course was in great shape. Great course to share some good times with another couple.
Good course with some intesting hols
This is overall a good course with some interesting holes which require several forced carries over the river winding through the course. Greens were a little slow, and still playing a temp green on #2. Fairways and sand traps are in good shape. Looking forward to going back in mid-season.
Needs work
Greens need dressed , women's t boxes need levelled and driving range needs a major over all.
The course it's self is not for the faint of heart and I would not recommend it to beginners. Keeps you on your toes.
Course management a must or you will soon find yourself knee deep in grass .
Over all enjoyed the course ,needs a little work.
A very nice course 15 minutes from Grimsby
My golfing friend of 35 years and I had perfect weather with sun & occasional clouds and a steady breeze throughout our 3.15 hour round. Enjoyed a 15 minute lunch break of Nathan's hot dogs & beverages at the 9th tee Tuck Shop with indoor seating area.
There were no golfers in front nor behind us for the entire day, as we set out on a Monday just before noon, with first time eagerness to play a scenic course, that is clearly superior in condition and design.
Twenty Valley Golf Club is a real golfing treat with friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere.
the course was in okay shape
wasn't happy that six greens were not in play an the pro shop didn't tell us that till we got there wouldn't of played there that day for fifthy bucks was not impressed at all
Twenty Valley Golf
We played at the end of April and the golf course was using temporary greens on 5 of the holes. I felt this did diminish the value of the round quite a bit because it definitely changed the layout on some of the course's signature holes. Because of this, everyone in my group was given a 2 for 1 green fees coupon we could use anytime this year.
The rest of the course was in better then average condition considering it's the start of the season and the rough winter we had. I am looking forward to playing there again.
Nice course
Good shape for early in the season. A few temporary greens. The pro shop told us in advance. Looking forward to playing again.
This course has some very chalanging holes
I would play here again it was early spring and it was wet , the course had been hit with all that winter could throw at it , they have done a very good job at trying to clean up , I could tell that there is a lot of interest thanks for a great day Keep up the good work Tom Knight
great challenging course super value and friendly staff
well looked after course for a november day. although range was closed the value was still there. would return with out a doubt
well established course with some challenging holes
nice course good value with some interesting features, greens are large and well maintained
Nice course
We played Twenty Valley after it had rained about an inch the night before. The greens were still fabulous and, considering the rain, the course was in great shape.
