Oshawa Airport Golf Club
About
Oshawa Airport Golf Club is situated in a scenic valley, running alongside a gentle stream. Sprinkled within the executive layout are some of the toughest par 3s in all of Ontario but they are nicely balanced by more player-friendly par 4s. Throughout the course you will find plenty of challenging hazards. Two large ponds come into play and there is a meandering creek that runs across three holes. The fairways are wide open and the undulating greens tend to be fast. You'll also find strategically placed bunkers along some of the greens. Although the greens have some tricky slopes, the golf course is mostly flat and easy to walk. Oshawa Airport Golf Club finishes with its signature hole, a 175-yard par 3 that requires a carry over water in order to reach the green.

Still fun to play
When I was younger I played Oshawa Airport Golf Course a lot. Over the years it's changed a bit and had good days and bad as far as conditions go.
When I played it today I was very pleasantly surprised to see the greens in excellent condition, in fact far better than many courses in Durham region that claim to be premiere. They have left the rough a bit long in places, possibly to add to the challenge or they don't want it to burn out.. not sure but it could be a bit shorter. The course itself is laid out a little strangely at times can be confusing to find the next hole and they should add some more signs.(minor complaint)
There are a lot of par threes, but overall a fun little course and you can be finished relatively quickly and its great value for money... go check it out it's a lot of fun
Too expensive for what you get, GolfNow price doesn't include cart
Most courses when I book on golf now include the price of the cart, which this one didn't. When I went back and looked it in fact said walking rate, but why??? every other course lists the price with the cart, so when it comes up in searches it appears to be a much better value. There is no way that a course that you can finish in 2 hours should cost $42 with a cart, and you add on the poor conditions of some tee boxes, grass in the rough that is as think as my backyard (even when 2 feet from the green!) and you get an overall bad value. That was the first time I had played at Airport in about 3-4 years, and you will be hard-pressed to find me back there any time soon, if ever. If the rate reflected those things this would be a nice quick course to play and work on your short game. This time I just paid the same price as many full length courses and got about half the entertainment time, and had to deal with sub-par course conditions. Overall not very impressed...
Good pace
This is a good course and doesn't seem to get to busy, can play around in 2:30 hours walking 2 players, somewhat easy but have always enjoyed it.
Spring Golf
Beautiful par 3's and 4's set on a wooded and streamed gently rolling beautiful location.
Adjoining Oshawa airport and across from
local cemetary provides country like openness
and watch light aircraft take offs and landings
if your games not fully absorbing your attention.\
Greens are excellent and traps well racked.
Local membership is fairly seasoned and enjoy and love the game sadly missed at some other courses.
Map directions
Please correct the map coordinates. The link is 10km north off ciurse! We are lost and missed our tee time and other appointments.
This course is short
If you want to work on your iron play this course would be okay. The course is too short to play with your buddies. It is okay for a quick round with your wife or girlfriend. It was early season, so the course was wet and the greens were very bumpy, but like I said, it was early season.
Thanksgiving Day Golf
My husband and I had a wonderful round of golf. I as a woman especially love this course. It is considered an executive course but have holes that are in the 300 yard range which is good for a long driver like myself. I get to use all of my clubs. There are a couple of holes where one can get lost as the directions are not marked clearly - one is on the first nine and second hole is #14 so we had to look around for a few minutes.
Decent Course for a practice round - Good value!
Oshawa Airport Golf Course is a moderate to low quality course for a REALLY low price. I ended up paying $15 for 18 holes + $4.50 for a pull cart. The pull cart was rusted and made going up and down the hills difficult, but I can't really complain with how little I paid.
The staff were FANTASTIC - I had the opportunity to interact with 4 different people who were all helpful. Throughout the round, I also saw the Marshall twice making sure that the pace of play was up to standard.
I wouldn't become a member here and play 40+ rounds per season, but I'd definitely give this course a try 2-3 times per season just to work on my short game and have a fun practice round.
I played the course as a walking single and was able to finish the entire round in 2 hours, 10 minutes.
Excellent Executive
I only got in 14 holes before a thunderstorm and the darkness rolled in. Excellent executive course, conditions are unparalleled. Greens are very soft, a bit slow for my liking but played true. Fairways mostly green, a bit patchy in some spots but given the drought is expected. The rough is punishing, forcing you to really hit those GIRs, no easy task on a lot of the par 3s. Great value for money, no matter if you play twilight (like me) or regular rate. Would be an excellent course to take juniors/newcomers to - even gives better players a bit of a challenge.
My only issue with the course is that the yardage markers on some holes are way off - hole 3 is listed as a 195 yd par 3, but my GPS accurately gave it as 165! I sailed the green trusting the signage and paid for it with a double bogey.
Some might get distracted by the prop planes flying overhead but as a aviation geek I enjoyed hearing them takeoff close by.
Good and cheap
Tax in it was $22. Can't go wrong with that.
Short course. Can hit driver on six holes.
Fun and gettable for better golfers and new golfers.
Conditions were as good as can be expected.
Great value.
Kids Golf For Free
Great course for using your irons. Course was in great shape. Kids golf for free and the special rate from golf now is well worth playing this course.
Fast round
Course in good condition. Greens were slow but consistent . Pace of play was excellent . Very good executive course.
Good round of golf
The weather was a little cool, but the course was in decent condition. The greens were in great shape; a little slow but it's early and weather was cool. Booked at $10/green fee, which made this a real good deal. Course id fun to play. Driver don't get much use, but great for short game.
Great shape for this time of year
High of 9 Celsius but sunny. Perfect conditions. Great shape, hardly any leaves...
Very awful experience today, due to staff's horrible attitude! We book tee time at around 1pm and by 3pm we were told to speed up, saying "you guys should complete 18 in 2 hours". But Mr. can't you see today is raining badly and we are the only 2 players in the course? We gave it up at hole 12. Course itself is not bad, but can't believe the service.
