Oshawa Airport Golf Club
About
Oshawa Airport Golf Club is situated in a scenic valley, running alongside a gentle stream. Sprinkled within the executive layout are some of the toughest par 3s in all of Ontario but they are nicely balanced by more player-friendly par 4s. Throughout the course you will find plenty of challenging hazards. Two large ponds come into play and there is a meandering creek that runs across three holes. The fairways are wide open and the undulating greens tend to be fast. You'll also find strategically placed bunkers along some of the greens. Although the greens have some tricky slopes, the golf course is mostly flat and easy to walk. Oshawa Airport Golf Club finishes with its signature hole, a 175-yard par 3 that requires a carry over water in order to reach the green.

Great little course
First time we played this course we were surprised how well kept the greens were. Today was our second time around at this course and it's still in really great shape even after the 3-4 weeks of drought. This course has really really nice greens. Played almost all my clubs. Course is walkable, but I prefer to take a golf cart. Sure the cost of the cart is more than the green fee if you get the hot rate on golf now. At the end it balances out and worth it because who doesn't have more fun driving around a golf cart? It's a great course to practice your game play. It's also nice to watch the local planes fly in and out while playing. Staff here are super friendly. Coming back to this little gem again and again.
Excellent Little Course
If you're from the area, this course is perfect to practice your short game. With a couple challenging tight par 3's over the water, and 2 longer ones mixed in. All the par 4's are drive-able with the exception of one which challenges you to be dead straight or risk being sloped off into the woods. The greens are fairly easy and in good condition. A true handicap of 20-24 on a pro 72 course, should have you easily scoring high 60's to mid 70's here. It is a par 61.
Customer service?
We were treated as second class since we were Golf Now guests. The owner made it clear that they make no money on the booking? We paid $34. for a golf cart and yet he claims not to be making any money. Very poor customer service.
Nice course.
The course has been getting better every year, the greens were great. I had my best game ever there.
Great Value$$$, Great Staff :)
Myself and my two cousins played here, and we were happy with the experience. Starter very nice and helpful, as the Marshall and pro shop guy was also. We will be back to play again nice course some challenging par 3;s.
Airport Golf
Great course for the average golfer. No long par 5 holes to worry about.
They could use better signage on the holes as there isn't a map on the scorecard. Alot of missing signs at the tee boxes and need signs pointing to the next hole.
Good Value for your money
Course in good shape and a good value for your money.
Course in good shape
Greens were in very good shape. Course well maintained. Hadn't played here in ages. Short but with several challenging holes. For the money a very good deal.
poor customer relations
arrived early to a vacant tee and was not allowed to go off early
the inside staff member (not the starter )was quite adamant I had to wait until my tee time
when the other golfers slated for the same tee time arrived early they were sent directly to the tee and allowed to go off early
upon inquiring about the quick change in policy I was informed I could tee now or go home
said staff member was rude short condescending and inconsistent
will not go there again
Slow for a executive course
Don't get caught behind the regulars they don't care if u r waiting they will still look for balls in the bush and creek and will never wave u on ,just pretent to not see u standing there.
Still fun to play
When I was younger I played Oshawa Airport Golf Course a lot. Over the years it's changed a bit and had good days and bad as far as conditions go.
When I played it today I was very pleasantly surprised to see the greens in excellent condition, in fact far better than many courses in Durham region that claim to be premiere. They have left the rough a bit long in places, possibly to add to the challenge or they don't want it to burn out.. not sure but it could be a bit shorter. The course itself is laid out a little strangely at times can be confusing to find the next hole and they should add some more signs.(minor complaint)
There are a lot of par threes, but overall a fun little course and you can be finished relatively quickly and its great value for money... go check it out it's a lot of fun
